THE ROSE FAMILY RETURNS WITH SECOND SEASON OF "SCHITT'S CREEK"

Pop Orders Season Two of the Critically Acclaimed Hit Comedy Series Starring Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Chris Elliott, Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy

"Schitt's Creek" Season One Finale to Air on Wednesday, May 6 at 10:00 PM, ET/PT

LOS ANGELES - March. 17, 2015 - SCHITT'S CREEK, the critically acclaimed hit comedy series starring Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Chris Elliott, Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy, has been picked up for a second season, it was announced today by Pop, the entertainment network which launched earlier this year to celebrate the fun of being a fan. Season two of SCHITT'S CREEK is set to air on the network with 13 new episodes in 2016.

Created by father-son team Eugene and Daniel Levy, SCHITT'S CREEK is Pop's first-ever scripted series. The 13-episode first season premiered on Feb. 11 and airs new episodes every Wednesday night at 10:00 PM, ET/PT. The show's first season finale will air on Wednesday, May 6 at 10:00 PM, ET/PT.

"We struck comedy gold with season one of SCHITT'S CREEK, and now with 13 more episodes on the way, audiences will get to keep falling in love with the Rose family," said Brad Schwartz, President, Pop. "Get ready for more laughs and award-worthy performances from some of the best talent in comedy."

"Wow. A second season on Pop? This is good news! It's better than good news. My son Daniel and I are thrilled to be associated with such a young, vibrant network. Here's hoping as Pop grows, so grows SCHITT'S CREEK," remarked Eugene Levy.

SCHITT'S CREEK stars Emmy(R) winners Eugene Levy ("American Pie," "Best In Show," "SCTV"), Catherine O'Hara ("Home Alone," "Best In Show," "SCTV") and Chris Elliott ("How I Met Your Mother," "Late Night With David Letterman," "There's Something About Mary"), alongside Daniel Levy ("Admission," MTV's "The Hills After Show") and Annie Murphy ("Blue Mountain State"). The series centers on a formerly filthy rich video store magnate Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy), his soap star wife Moira (Catherine O'Hara), and their two kids, ber-hipster son David (Daniel Levy) and socialite daughter Alexis (Annie Murphy), who suddenly find themselves broke. They are forced to live in Schitt's Creek, a small, depressing town they once bought as a joke.

SCHITT'S CREEK is commissioned by CBC, produced by Not A Real Company Productions Inc., and created by Eugene and Daniel Levy. The executive producers are Eugene and Daniel Levy, Andrew Barnsley, Fred Levy and Ben Feigin. SCHITT'S CREEK is distributed by ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

About Pop:

Fans don't sit at the outskirts of pop culture making snarky comments. They live right smack in the middle of it, sharing, creating, and connecting their passions with others. At Pop, fans finally have a destination that celebrates the fun of being a fan. Fans aren't even fans anymore - they're gladiators, tributes, human beings and blockheads. Seen in more than 80 million homes, Pop gives fans a dedicated channel that loves being a fan as much as they do. A channel that respects talent over celebrity. A channel filled with optimism, passion, humor, and excitement. A channel that understands the fun doesn't stop when the credits roll... it's really just the beginning.

Pop is a joint venture of CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS) and Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF). The partnership combines CBS's programming, production and marketing assets with Lionsgate's resources in motion pictures, television and digitally delivered content. Pop's ownership structure is comprised of the company with the #1 broadcast network and many of the top first-run syndication series ("Entertainment Tonight," "The Insider") and the studio that produces and distributes the blockbuster "Hunger Games," "Twilight" and "Divergent" franchises and produces such award-winning TV series as "Mad Men" and "Orange is the New Black."
