U.S. AND MEXICO RENEW ONE OF SOCCER'S GREATEST RIVALRIES IN PRIMETIME ON FOX SPORTS 1

Extensive Pregame, Halftime and Postgame Coverage Planned Live from San Antonio's Alamodome on April 15

UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals Coverage Also Anchored Live from San Antonio Next Week

Los Angeles - Next week FOX Sports 1 televises five highly anticipated soccer matches, as the U.S. Men's National Team takes on archrival Mexico in primetime on Wednesday, April 15, and top European clubs square off in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 14-15. Close to 10 hours of pregame, halftime and postgame coverage are planned from San Antonio, site of the sold-out U.S.-Mexico match, over the two days.

The USMNT takes the field for the international friendly against Mexico on Wednesday, April 15. FOX Sports 1's San Antonio-based studio coverage begins with a one-hour pregame show at 8:00 PM ET. Pregame coverage, hosted by Rob Stone, with studio analysis from Eric Wynalda, Stuart Holden and current Seattle Sounders and former Mexican National Team midfielder Gonzalo Pineda, originates from a set specially constructed in the Alamodome's North Plaza. John Strong and Alexi Lalas call the match (9:00PM ET) with Julie Stewart-Binks reporting. The game marks the first time that the U.S. and Mexico have met on the pitch in the River City, only 150 miles from the border separating the two countries. These teams last met in April 2014 in Arizona, playing to a thrilling 2-2 draw.

UEFA Champions League pregame coverage airs live from San Antonio on Tuesday, April 14 (2:00 PM ET) on FOX Sports 1 prior to a quarterfinal match featuring Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, which were both tournament finalists a year ago. Juventus takes on Monaco in the day's other match (2:00 PM ET, FOX Sports 2). Stone hosts with Lalas, Wynalda and Warren Barton at the desk in San Antonio on Tuesday and Wednesday, with coverage both days beginning at 2:00 PM ET. The prestigious UEFA Champions League Trophy also travels from Europe to Texas to be displayed on-air.

Tuesday's coverage wraps up following the postgame show with a visit from former U.S. Women's National Team defender Heather Mitts as she appears on FOX Sports 1's AMERICA'S PREGAME to look ahead to the FIFA Women's World Cup, just over 50 days away from kick-off.

Wednesday's jam-packed schedule begins at 2:00 PM ET with more UEFA Champions League quarterfinal Leg 1 matches. Lionel Messi and Barcelona battle Paris St. Germain on FOX Sports 1, while German giants Bayern Munich and Porto clash on FOX Sports 2.

FOX Deportes' flagship studio programs CENTRAL FOX, LA ULTIMA PALABRA and FOX DEPORTES EN VIVO feature extended segments on-site from San Antonio with former Mexican soccer stars Claudio "El Emperador" Suarez and Alberto Garcia Aspe, breaking down all the storylines surrounding the USMNT-Mexico game. Daily reports come from lead reporters Alex Blanco and Ruben Rodriguez, starting Monday, April 13. FOX Deportes also televises the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals on Tuesday (Juventus-Monaco) and Wednesday (Barcelona-PSG).

All U.S. Soccer and UEFA Champions League matches and related studio programming on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2 are available to customers of participating pay-TV providers via FOX Sports GO and FOX Soccer 2Go apps, and on the web through FOXSportsGO.com. Fans can also follow minute-by-minute commentary via @FOXSoccer and @FOXSoccerTrax Twitter accounts.

FOX Sports' summer of soccer kicks off in a big way next week and continues to heat up with more action featuring the USMNT, the USWNT, the FIFA Women's World Cup 2015(TM), CONCACAF Gold Cup, MLS All-Star Game plus this season's later rounds of many top European soccer competitions, including the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup.
