(Silver Spring, Md.) - Fire up those grills and get the smokers ready! This year, it is an all-star event bringing back the greatest competitors from previous seasons serving up the best rivalries in season six of BBQ PITMASTERS. America's favorite World Champions Myron Mixon, Tuffy Stone and Moe Cason are back at the judges' table, and this year they are in on the action more than ever before. With their front-row seats to the hottest BBQ battles in the country, the judges will be analyzing and 'grilling' the competitors on their noteworthy barbeque from the second it sizzles on the grill to the moment it lands on the judges' plates. Blind judging has left the circuit this season with competitors receiving immediate praise or heat from the judges for the first time ever. Destination America lights up the summer season with a BBQ PITMASTERS ALL-STARS sneak peak premiere on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25 at 9/8c rolling into the annual BBQ's ULTIMATE CHAMPIONSHIP: The 2015 Kingsford Invitational at 10/9c. BBQ PITMASTERS ALL-STARS moves to its regular timeslot on Thursday, May 28 at 10/9c.

"With competitors from Oklahoma to Oregon and Idaho to Florida, this season of BBQ PITMASTERS ALL-STARS packs the heat with the best rigs from across the states as teams return to defend their ultimate BBQ titles," said Marc Etkind, general manager of Destination America. "We're the home of BBQ and with ribs, brisket and pulled pork being highlights of great summer eats and we can't think of a better way to start the BBQ season than with an all-American showdown."

Memorial Day marks the entrance to summer, and Destination America marks the occasion with a sneak peak premiere of BBQ PITMASTERS ALL-STARS leading right into the one-hour special BBQ's ULTIMATE CHAMPIONSHIP: The 2015 Kingsford Invitational. The third annual KINGSFORD INVITATIONAL brings the best pitmasters in the country to New York City for the ultimate BBQ face-off - including a wild card team made up of New York City BBQ chefs - to find out who truly is the best of the best. It is winner-takes-all stakes with the biggest prize in competition BBQ on the line and just one lucky team will walk away with $50,000 cash prize and the coveted Kingsford Invitational Champion title.

The new season of BBQ PITMASTERS ALL-STARS premieres on Thursday, May 28th at 10/9c with a fierce competition between three returning pitmasters in Smoker Envy. Top teams Chicago's Chicago Q, Idaho's A Boy & His BBQ and the chicken kings Texas' Jambo Pits return ready to out cook their competitors in a prime rib and whole chicken competition.
