LOVE & OPERA (WE tv, New!) - Pilgrim Studios is developing a new reality series at the cable channel about "a group of young, beautiful and boldly ambitious opera singers fighting for diva status in New York City." The company's Craig Piligian will serve as an executive producer. (Deadline.com)


ROBBERS (TNT, New!) - Tim McGraw is attached to star and executive produce a new drama at the network about "a cop, two running buddies on a crime spree across Texas, and the girl who becomes the complication in a very unique love triangle." The project is based on Christopher Cook's 2000 debut novel with Michael Dinner directing from a script he co-wrote with Cook. McGraw then will play "one of the two drifters, Ray Bob, described as being worst of the worst." Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly likewise will executive produce via their Timberman-Beverly Productions banner for Sony Pictures Television. (Deadline.com)


AND IN OTHER NEWS... - FOX has reportedly passed on a fourth season for its struggling comedy "The Mindy Project" however producer Universal Television is said to be in talks with Hulu for a new home (Deadline.com); Matt Berry has been upped to showrunner on "Last Man Standing," where he'll succeed Tim Doyle on the show's expected fifth season (Deadline.com); an animated series based on "Spy Kids" is among the latest offerings in the works at The Weinstein Company (Deadline.com);

Dan Sterling has inked a two-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television where he'll take over the day-to-day showrunning duties on "The Last Man on Earth" (Deadline.com); "The Catch" director/executive producer Julie Anne Robinson has extended her overall deal with ABC Studios for another two years (THR.com); NBC is reportedly in talks to revive "The Maya Rudolph Show" as a companion to its upcoming variety series "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris" (Variety.com, Vulture.com); and Jennifer Love Hewitt won't return to "Criminal Minds" for its potential 11th season (EW.com).
