CW Seed Acquires a New Digital Series and Library Stand-Up Comedy Content For Online and Mobile Platform

May 14, 2015 (New York City, NY) - The CW Network and Just For Laughs announced a new strategic broadcast and digital partnership today during the network's upfront presentation in New York City.

As part of this new deal, The CW will broadcast an exclusive two-hour special next season featuring performances from top comedians and new stars, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Host, airdate and comedians showcased on the special will be announced at a later time.

In addition, Just For Laughs will supply CW Seed, The CW's digital studio, with an original digital web series of interviews with comedians from the Festival, plus hours and hours of classic stand-up library content for online (www.cwseed.com) and mobile app. Launch date for the Just For Laughs digital series and the classic material to be announced later.
