MORNINGS AND AFTERNOONS HAVE GONE TO THE AFTERLIFE!

DESTINATION AMERICA LAUNCHES NEW DAYTIME PROGRAMMING BLOCK: "NO LIFE TO LIVE"

-- Ghost-Themed Daytime Block Launches Monday, June 1 and Continues Weekdays From 9am-5pm ET --

(Silver Spring, Md.) - Imagine you're watching a scary ghost show - a terrifying one, like GHOST ASYLUM on Destination America. The lights are off. No one else is home. Then BANG! There's a knock at the door. You hear creaking, the muffled yell of a disembodied voice, the sound of something big and heavy dragging across the floor. You weren't expecting company at this hour. The clock strikes 12... in the afternoon and you realize it's only the package deliveryman. You've been watching too much of Destination America's new ghost-filled daytime programming block NO LIFE TO LIVE.

Who says ghost stories are just for nighttime?

Starting this June, daytime becomes playtime for fans of all things creepy with the debut of NO LIFE TO LIVE on Destination America beginning Monday, June 1 from 9am-5pm ET. Continuing weekly Monday through Friday, the daytime programming block presents eight full hours of ghostly myths and legends so chilling that even daylight can't scare away the heebie-jeebies. Viewer favorites including GHOST ASYLUM, A HAUNTING, GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS, and GHOSTS IN MY HOUSE deliver all the drama of typical daytime fare with demons, visions, and ghouls in place of soap operas' divas, villains, and girls next door.

"Destination America is already the home - or rather, haunted house - for American hauntings, ghost stories and campfire tales," said Marc Etkind, general manager of Destination America. "For our phantom-loving fanatics, no day is complete without gathering around the TV for a big fright and now, with NO LIFE TO LIVE, they don't have to wait until nighttime to get their fix of fear."

Destination America's NO LIFE TO LIVE daytime programming block will include the following spooky series:

GHOST ASYLUM

GHOST ASYLUM follows the Tennessee Wraith Chasers, a passionate paranormal team, as they hunt down ghosts in the most frightening asylums, sanitariums, penitentiaries and haunted hotspots across the U.S. Stepping into abandoned locations that only the bravest dare to enter, the team's goal is not just to conjure paranormal activity but to physically capture restless souls with their custom-created ghost traps.

A HAUNTING

In A HAUNTING, real evil lurks in the darkest shadows and in the most ordinary places. Through spellbinding first-person accounts, each episode profiles the story of one family traumatized by unknown supernatural forces. A HAUNTING gives a fresh look and feel to dramatic recreations of some of the scariest stories known to man, leaving viewers with a lingering sense that life after death is much more powerful than anyone could possibly imagine.

GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS

GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS takes you on a chilling ride through fascinating and highly personal ghost stories, combining the exhilarating drama of the incident with a critical in-depth look at the questions behind it. Paranormal isn't just the domain of psychics and tarot card readers - in fact, many ordinary people have had supernatural experiences.

GHOSTS IN MY HOUSE

Doors slam. Faucets turn on by themselves. Lights flicker. Homeowners scream: "What's happening?" Terrified and looking for answers, these owners turn to renowned psychic Nadine Mercey and paranormal investigator Michelle McCay for answers. GHOSTS IN MY HOUSE leaves viewers wondering who - or what - they might share their homes with.

AMISH HAUNTING

AMISH HAUNTING brings to life the most chilling horror stories ever to emerge from within the Amish community. From faceless dolls to possessed children, the Amish are no strangers to monstrosity in all its dreadful forms. For the first time ever, these stories will be brought to life by brave Amish narrators who will guide viewers on a grim, captivating trip into the Amish crypt.

GHOST STALKERS

Chad Lindberg, a ghost hunter and actor (Fast and the Furious, Supernatural), and John E.L. Tenney, a renowned paranormal expert, author, and investigator, have both had near-death experiences that left them with an undying passion for exploring one of life's biggest unanswered questions: what happens after you die? Using this knowledge, they investigate the afterlife in America's most haunted places.

WHEN GHOSTS ATTACK

Told from the first-person perspective of real victims, each episode features chilling cases in which people are attacked by an unknown force from within their own homes. From scratches and bruises to sudden illness and shoves down the stairs, the otherworldly assailants in WHEN GHOSTS ATTACK are invisible, but the scars - both physical and emotional - are all too real.
