TV ONE'S "HELLOBEAUTIFUL INTERLUDES LIVE: JOHNNY GILL" SPECIAL PREMIERES SATURDAY, JUNE 20, 10 P.M. ET

NEW YORK, N.Y. - JUNE 16, 2015 - TV One's highly anticipated HelloBeautiful Interludes Live: Johnny Gill featuring Grammy(R)-Nominated R&B Artist Johnny Gill premieres this Saturday, June 20 on TV One at 10 p.m. ET. As part of TV One's "Black Music Month" programming, the one-hour special treats viewers to an exclusive performance recently taped at Vinyl in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

"I had the best time in Vegas taping the HelloBeautiful Interludes TV Special," said Gill. "The response from the audience was overwhelming and the production is superb! This concert special is a celebratory moment for me and my fans, and a great way to honor the legacy of our music during Black Music Month."

HelloBeautiful Interludes Live: Johnny Gill features live performances of his chart-topping hits ""My, My, My," "Rub You The Right Way" and "Fairweather Friend." His set also includes "Role Play," "Behind Closed Doors," "There You Go" and "Game Changer." Along with amazing musical performances, the specialincludes intimate conversations, revealing the innermost "interludes" of Gill's life and career - faith and family, 30-plus years as a performer, the highs and lows of the music business, and more.

When speaking about New Edition's ability to reunite throughout the years, Gill said, "This is not a group that was just manufactured. This is not a group that is just a 'group." We have trials and tribulations, we have ups and downs. But we're still there. There's really a true brotherhood. So that's the difference."

Among the most dynamic voices of the 1990s, Gill helped transform New Edition from a bubble-gum group to crossover hit-makers. His first solo album was a mega smash that featured "Wrap My Body Tight," "Fairweather Friend," and his signature ballad, "My, My, My." Recently he released a new Billboard charting CD after 16 years entitled, "Still Winning," and kicked-off his "Game Changer" tour earlier this year.

HelloBeautiful Interludes Live: Johnny Gill is the latest example of the cross-platform collaboration between TV One and Interactive One that began when the Interludes series - originally only available online - was brought to the TV network in September 2013 with HelloBeautiful Interludes Live: John Legend. Other installments of the series have featured Ne-Yo, Alicia Keys, Toni Braxton & Babyface, Jennifer Hudson, Trey Songz, KEM and Ledisi.

HelloBeautiful Interludes Live: Johnny Gill is hosted and executive produced by Smokey D. Fontaine for Interactive One. Leigh Davenport serves as editorial director for HelloBeautiful.com. For TV One, Jubba Seyyid is executive-in-charge of production and D'Angela Proctor is the network's senior vice president, original programming and production.
