ABC NEWS ANNOUNCES TWO NEW SERIES BY THE AWARD-WINNING PRODUCERS OF TV'S MOST WATCHED REAL LIFE HOSPITAL SHOWS

"Save My Life: Boston Trauma" Takes Viewers from the Streets of Boston into the ERs of America's Top Hospitals Premiering Sunday, July 19 at 10:00 PM/ET on ABC

"Boston EMS" Follows the Proud Men and Women of America's Most Seasoned Team of First Responders Premiering Saturday, July 25 at 9:00PM/ET on ABC

From the producers of critically-acclaimed "Hopkins, "Boston Med," and "NY Med," comes "Save My Life: Boston Trauma" and "Boston EMS," two adrenaline-packed series that follow trauma cases from the actual scene of unimaginable accidents.

In "Save My Life: Boston Trauma," viewers will get unparalleled access to top tier trauma teams inside the emergency rooms and operating rooms of the nation's most prestigious hospitals including the Boston Medical Center, Massachusetts General, and Brigham and Women's. Lives that could be lost in lesser hands at less renowned medical centers are saved through feats of miraculous skill. The only certainty is that those who need care will receive the very best that medicine has to offer. This remarkable series tells many stories of heroism, poignancy, and unexpected humor. One minute a mother struggles with the news that her son has been critically wounded in a shooting, while in the next scene, doctors become a captive audience as their patient launches into an impromptu rap. "Save My Life: Boston Trauma" premieres SUNDAY, JULY 19 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network. Starting Saturday, July 25 all subsequent episodes of "Save My Life: Boston Trauma" will air on Saturdays at 10:00 p.m., ET.

In "Boston EMS," viewers will ride along with the proud men and women of the Boston Emergency Services, one of America's most seasoned team of first responders: the first step in the chain of trauma care. It was this same group that answered the desperate calls of runners and spectators two years ago when the bombs went off at the Boston Marathon. Treating the injured and ferrying the wounded to hospitals, the Boston EMS earned the gratitude of a shell-shocked and grief-stricken city with their cool-headed professionalism. In "Boston EMS," viewers will meet some of the heroes of that terrible day as they answer new calls and respond to a daily dose of trauma and mayhem. "Boston EMS" premieres SATURDAY, JULY 25 at 9:00 PM/ET (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Even for an experienced team like ours, we were stunned by some of the heart-pounding medical miracles we saw performed," said executive producer Terence Wrong. "With half a dozen famous hospitals, Boston is a city of medical excellence like no other."

With their previous series, the producers pioneered a new form of television - unscripted authentic medical drama. Terence Wrong is the executive producer of "Save My Life: Boston Trauma" and "Boston EMS," along with the critically-acclaimed "Hopkins, "Boston Med," and "NY Med." Erica Baumgart is the senior producer. Andy Genovese, Aysu Grodowski and Alexa Coyle are series producers. Monica DelaRosa is story and digital producer. Carly Stipek is field producer. "Save My Life: Boston Trauma" and "Boston EMS" are produced by ABC's Lincoln Square Productions for ABC News.
