"HONOR THY SATURDAY" BY WATCHING COLLEGE FOOTBALL ON FOX & FOX SPORTS 1

The Boz, Dickerson & Fridge Rule From Above In New Ad Campaign

New York - This season, nearly 100 college football games are scheduled on FOX Sports' national and regional networks, and if you miss one, you risk angering the college football gods.

Gridiron legends Brian "The Boz" Bosworth, Eric Dickerson and William "Refrigerator" Perry star as college football gods in FOX Sports' new ad campaign launching this week. The television spots decree that fans "Honor Thy Saturday" by watching college football games on FS1, risking serious consequences if they don't.

"These spots, combined with our Opening Drive tour which features a bus dressed in Jim Harbaugh's khakis, represents the largest college football initiative in our history," said Robert Gottlieb, FOX Sports Executive Vice President, Marketing. "These television spots, in particular, use the gravitas of some of the most legendary figures in the sport to call attention to the enthusiasm fans have for college football, as well as their rituals and superstitions, and are a fun look at what can happen to fans that are less than devout."

The television spots featuring Bosworth, Dickerson and Perry, in which they rebuke so-called fans for their disobedience, run on multiple FOX properties, including FOX broadcast network, FS1, FS2, FOX Sports Regional Networks, FX, FOX News and more. The gods are featured in outdoor billboards, including a wall-scape along the I-405 freeway in Los Angeles, and have their own Twitter account, @CFBGodsonFS1, which interacts with fans throughout the season and encourages conversation using the hashtag #HonorThySaturday. Additionally, game telecasts throughout the season on FOX and FS1 feature several Big 12 and Pac-12 players answering the question, "What would you ask the Football Gods?"

FOX Sports kicked off its preparation for the season with the FS1 Opening Drive bus tour, which began Saturday, Aug. 22, in Ann Arbor, Mich., and Detroit. Highlighting the tour is a full-sized bus wrapped in khaki fabric, celebrating the well-known look worn by first-year Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh. The tour makes several stops around the country before eventually pulling in to Salt Lake City prior to Michigan at Utah on Thursday, Sept. 3, on FS1 (7:00 PM ET). Play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson, analyst Joel Klatt and sideline reporter Molly McGrath, FOX Sports' new lead college football broadcast team, call the Wolverines-Utes game. Including Michigan-Utah, FOX Sports kicks off the 2015 college football season with seven games over four days this weekend. On Saturday, Sept. 5, college football returns to your local FOX station with Virginia at No. 13 UCLA (3:30 PM ET) with Joe Davis, Brady Quinn and Kris Budden on the call. That night on FS1, Mississippi State meets South Miss (10:00 PM ET) with Tim Brando and Spencer Tillman in the booth, and on Sunday, Sept. 6, Marshall hosts Purdue (3:00 PM ET) on FS1, called by Justin Kutcher, Steve Hutchinson and Petros Papadakis.

Those exciting matchups are part of the nearly 100 games telecast on FOX Sports' national and regional platforms this season, comprising a schedule that features top contests from the Big 12, Pac-12 and Conference USA on FOX broadcast network, FS1, FOX Sports Networks (FSN), FOX College Sports (FCS), FOX Deportes and FOX Sports GO.
