JAMIE-LYNN SIGLER STARS IN HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES' "THE CHRISTMAS NOTE," BASED ON THE BESTSELLING NOVEL BY DONNA VANLIERE

Coming This November As Part Of 'The Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas' on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

STUDIO CITY, CA - September 16, 2015 - Jamie-Lynn Sigler ("The Sopranos") stars in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries original two-hour world premiere movie, "The Christmas Note," coming this November as part of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries annual programming event, 'The Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas.' The film also stars Leah Gibson in the key role of Melissa McCreary.

The network's holiday-themed programming slate kicks off on October 31, and will also feature the original world premiere movies "Murder She Baked: A Plum Pudding Mystery," starring Alison Sweeney and Cameron Mathison, and "The Magic Stocking."

"Jamie-Lynn Sigler is an extraordinary actress and a welcome addition to our roster of Hallmark talent for this year's robust holiday slate," said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President of Programming and Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. "We have no doubt that this story of hope and redemption will captivate viewers and resonate this holiday season."

Having just moved back to her hometown without her serviceman husband but with her young son, Gretchen Daniels (Sigler) finds her life in disarray as Christmas approaches. But she discovers new purpose when she helps to deliver a message to her neighbor, Melissa (Gibson), which makes her an ally in the quest to find the neighbor's sibling she never knew she had. The women become bonded not only by the search, but by the understanding that being there for each other means they're no longer alone. This friendship becomes the greatest Christmas gift of their lives.

Sigler is best known for playing Meadow Soprano on HBO's critically acclaimed drama "The Sopranos." Her recent TV credits include recurring roles on ABC's comedy "Ugly Betty" and HBO's hit series "Entourage." Sigler's work on "The Sopranos" earned her the 1999 and 2000 Hollywood Reporter Young Star Award for Best Actress in a Dramatic Series, as well as two ALMA Award nominations for Best Actress in a Drama Series (2001 & 2002.) She also starred in the original mini-series "The Gathering" co-starring Peter Gallagher, Kristin Lehmann, Jenna Boyd and Peter Fonda.

The new original film is based on a bestselling novel by Donna VanLiere. "The Christmas Note" is produced by TCN Productions Inc. Executive Producers are Shawn Williamson, Craig Anderson and Beth Grossbard. Jamie Goehring is producer. Terry Ingram directs from a script written by Wesley Bishop, Erik Patterson and Jessica Scott.
