WEEK AFTER WEEK OF TERRIFYING PREMIERES ARE COMING TO DESTINATION AMERICA, THE #1 HOME FOR PARANORMAL PROGRAMMING THIS FALL

(Silver Spring, Md.) - If you're a fan of stories about supernatural mysteries, ghostly activity, and Bigfoot encounters, Destination America has got a goody bag for you this fall season! Week after week throughout October and November, the #1 home for paranormal programming during the spookiest season of the year will become a one-stop shop for all things spooky with a packed lineup of all-new series, specials, and ongoing episodes sure to scare your socks off.

The frightful fall season kicks off with the return of the hit series GHOST ASYLUM on Friday, October 16 at 9/8c, following the Tennessee Wraith Chasers (TWC) ghost-hunting team as they as they investigate supernatural activity in America's haunted abandoned locations that only the bravest dare to enter. The following week, TWC takes on the biggest and most dangerous challenge of their lives as they join world-renowned psychic medium Chip Coffey in a two-hour special event, EXORCISM: LIVE, on Friday, October 30 at 9/8c. The first-ever live televised exorcism in U.S. history will revisit the story and the frightening house that inspired the iconic movie The Exorcist. No one has ever attempted to rid the lurking spirits and demons that inhabit this home, until now.

With the dust of Halloween barely settled, Destination America then launches a bone-chilling new series, THE DEMON FILES, on Sunday, November 1 at 10/9c, in which hardened NYPD cop-turned-demonologist Ralph Sarchie battles evil at the source while investigating real-world cases of suspected diabolical activity. Following THE DEMON FILES's three-episode run, Destination America's hit series A HAUNTING returns for its eighth season on Sunday, November 22 at 10/9c. Through spellbinding first-person accounts and dramatic recreations of some of the scariest stories known to man, each episode profiles the story of one family traumatized by unknown supernatural forces.

The spook doesn't stop there! New episodes of ALASKA MONSTERS on Saturdays at 10/9c and ALASKA HAUNTING on Sundays at 10/9c continue the drumbeat of stories about mysterious monsters and ghostly encounters on the frozen frontier.

Monsters, ghosts, myths and legends have found their home on Destination America. Thanks to hit series including GHOST ASYLUM, A HAUNTING, and MOUNTAIN MONSTERS - returning will all-new episodes in early 2016 - viewers are learning to expect heart-stopping stories of the unexplainable from this powerhouse of paranormal programming.

No other network holds a candle to Destination America's variety of goose bump-inducing shows. The full frightening fall slate includes:

SPECIAL LIVE EVENT

EXORCISM: LIVE!

Two-Hour Live Event Airs Friday, October 30 at 9/8c

The first-ever live televised exorcism in U.S. history will revisit the story and the frightening house that inspired the iconic movie The Exorcist on its 66th anniversary. In 1949 at a house in St. Louis, an exorcism was performed on 14-year-old Roland Doe to rid him of demonic possession. No one has ever attempted to cleanse the house of the spirits and demons that remain there, until now. EXORCISM: LIVE! will feature the cast of Destination America's hit series GHOST ASYLUM, the Tennessee Wraith Chasers, as well as world-renowned psychic medium, Chip Coffey. Follow along as the team embarks on what is considered by many a dangerous mission to investigate the home for paranormal activity, connect with its spirits and, once and for all, bring peace to the most haunted home in America.

SEASON PREMIERES

GHOST ASYLUM

Season 2 Returns with All-New Episodes Friday, October 16 at 9/8c

Phantoms, demons, and shadow creatures beware! The hit series GHOST ASYLUM is back following the Tennessee Wraith Chasers (TWC) ghost-hunting team as they investigate America's most frightening asylums, penitentiaries and haunted hotspots - the kind of places that inspire horror movies. "Respect, detect, collect" is TWC's motto and the core process they follow in each episode. Stepping into abandoned locations that only the bravest dare to enter, TWC meshes scientific methodology and ghost-hunting gadgets with their Tennessee wit and thirst for adventure. Their goal isn't just to communicate with restless souls, but to physically capture them in custom-created ghost traps and help them find peace beyond the gates of their ghostly tomb.

THE DEMON FILES

All-New Series World Premieres Sunday, November 1 at 10/9c

Ralph Sarchie's life is divided between two very different worlds. In one he's a decorated sergeant for the NYPD who proudly protected and served his city for over 18 years. In the other he's a highly regarded demonologist, helping real American families who fear they may be threatened by the demonic. His book Beware the Night details how he uses his cop-hardened savvy to combat supernatural evil at every turn and served as the inspiration for the 2014 movie Deliver Us from Evil. Now in THE DEMON FILES, Sarchie and his team travel across the country meeting with people apparently suffering from demonic activity.

A HAUNTING

Season 8 Premieres Sunday, November 22 at 10/9c

In A HAUNTING, real evil lurks in the darkest shadows and in the most ordinary places. Through spellbinding first-person accounts, each episode profiles the story of one family traumatized by unknown supernatural forces. New this season, A HAUNTING gives a fresh look and feel to dramatic recreations of some of the scariest stories known to man, leaving viewers with a lingering sense that life after death is much more powerful than anyone could possibly imagine.

ONGOING PREMIERES

ALASKA MONSTERS

Season 2 Finales Saturday, November 7 at 10/9c

ALASKA MONSTERS follows a team of investigators called the Midnight Sons deep into the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness as they search for mysterious monsters. The eight-episode second season is a dedicated BIGFOOT EDITION, in which these expert trappers focus their efforts on capturing the king of covert creatures, Bigfoot. The native outdoorsmen employ thermal technology and modern tracking techniques in their quest to find evidence that Bigfoot calls Alaska home.

ALASKA HAUNTING

Season 1 Finales Sunday, October 25 at 10/9c

In ALASKA HAUNTING, unnerving ghostly encounters deep in the Alaskan bush leave residents with nowhere to run and no neighbors to turn to for help. Spirits lurk in the shadows of Alaska's isolated cabins, freezing families in fear and leaving them no choice but to turn to paranormal investigators as their last hope. The real people featured in ALASKA HAUNTING know this horror first-hand and reveal their bone-chilling stories through interviews and dramatic recreations.
