CHRISTINA AGUILERA RETURNS TO JOIN ADAM LEVINE, BLAKE SHELTON AND PHARRELL WILLIAMS AS COACHES FOR SEASON 10 OF "THE VOICE"

More Red Chair Swivels to Come as NBC's Two-Time Emmy Award-Winning Musical Competition Series Rolls On

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - Oct. 7, 2015 - Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams are on board as season 10 coaches of NBC's two-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice."

The 10th season will begin in February.

"The coaches on 'The Voice' continue to bring incredible energy, unrivaled musical expertise and a want-to-win attitude that makes for the perfect ingredients of a two-time Emmy-winning show," said Paul Telegdy, President, Late Night and Alternative Programming, NBC Entertainment. "We can't wait to see what season 10 will bring."

Aguilera, who returns to "The Voice," is one of the most accomplished performers of the last decade, having sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, achieved four No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and won six Grammy Awards. She has also received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has had the prestigious honor of being named the only artist under the age of 30 included in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 greatest singers of all time.

Adam Levine has been a coach on "The Voice" since the show's debut in April 2011. He is also the lead singer of three-time GRAMMY winning band Maroon 5. The multi-platinum selling group's latest album, Overexposed, has quickly reinforced the band's status as a powerhouse in popular music with all of the collection's singles rising to the top of the charts. The third single off of the album claimed the #1 spot on both Top 40 and Hot AC radio charts. In the process, the band set a record for the most #1's (six in total) by a group in the Top 40 chart's 20-year history. Most recently, Maroon 5 wrapped one of the highest grossing tours of 2013 with over 50 million dollars in ticket sales. The band's new single "Feelings" is out now. They are currently in the studio recording a new album.

Shelton has earned the incredible accomplishment of being the coach for four champions over the show's eight completed seasons, with the ninth season currently underway. Season-seven winner Craig Wayne Boyd follows in the footsteps of past victors Danielle Bradbery, Cassadee Pope and Jermaine Paul.

Among his many awards, Shelton is the reigning five-time Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year and an Entertainer of the Year winner. His most recent album, "Bringing Back the Sunshine," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and country albums chart. "Sunshine" has already yielded the hit singles "Neon Light," "Lonely Tonight," featuring Ashley Monroe, and "Sangria," which became Shelton's 20th #1 single. His newest album, "Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits," will be released Oct. 23. For more information, please visit www.BlakeShelton.com and follow @BlakeShelton.

Williams, who has sold more than 100 million albums, has won 10 Grammy Awards. He also received a 2014 Academy Award nomination for his original song "Happy," featured in the animated film "Despicable Me 2." "Happy" remained atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 10 consecutive weeks and peaked at #1 on iTunes in 103 markets worldwide. Williams' last album, "Girl," was released in March 2014 to rave reviews.

Through the opening two weeks of the season, "The Voice" is averaging a 3.5 rating, 11 share in adults 18-49 and 12.6 million viewers overall, according to "live plus same day" viewership results from Nielsen Media Research, to keep NBC the dominant broadcast network on both Mondays and Tuesdays in 18-49. "The Voice" debuted with six-month time-period highs for NBC on both Monday and Tuesday and is the season's #1 alternative series in every key ratings measure.

"The Voice" is a presentation of United Artists Media Group (an MGM company), Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Lee Metzger and Jay Bienstock.
