"THE TONIGHT SHOW" GOES WEST AGAIN IN 2016 FOR FIVE SHOWS IN LOS ANGELES

In a Follow-Up to His Previous Trip to California, Fallon Returns to Stage One at Universal Studios on Feb. 15-19

Two-Hour "The Tonight Show Valentine's Day Anniversary Special" Kicks Off Week as Fallon Goes Primetime on Feb. 14

NEW YORK - Jan. 13, 2016 - After a hugely successful trip to the West Coast last year, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" is heading back to Los Angeles on Feb. 15-19.

"The Tonight Show" will once again be telecast from Stage One at Universal Studios with a huge array of A-list celebrity guests, including Will Ferrell, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera and Zach Galifianakis. Others will be announced at a later date. There will also be games, musical highlights and plenty of surprises.

In addition, Fallon will be going primetime with "The Tonight Show Valentine's Day Anniversary Special," set for Sunday, Feb. 14 from 9-11 p.m. The special will celebrate the show's second anniversary with a compilation of some of Fallon's best "Tonight Show" moments, including celebrity interviews, musical impressions and comedy sketches.

In its Feb. 2-5, 2015 visit to California, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" dominated the competition and delivered, at the time, its top-rated week in nearly eight months in adults 18-49 and 4.185 million total viewers. The Wall Street Journal wrote, "As always, Fallon and his crew brought their A game to Universal Studios Hollywood."

The L.A. visit also set online records at the time, with "The Tonight Show" YouTube channel hitting almost 33 million views for the clip that brought the "Saved by the Bell" cast back together.

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has continued its dominance of the late-night daypart through the current season, averaging a 1.10 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 3.923 million viewers overall, according to "most current" ratings from Nielsen Media Research. "Tonight" leads CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" so far this season in every key ratings measure. For the fourth quarter, Fallon topped Colbert in the key adult 18-49 demographic by a +49% margin (with a 1.10 rating vs. a 0.74) and led Kimmel by +86% (1.10 vs. 0.59). Since taking over as host, Fallon has generated "Tonight's" two highest-rated fourth quarters in 18-49 since 2008.

From Universal Television and Broadway Video, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" is executive produced by Lorne Michaels and produced by Josh Lieb. Gavin Purcell produces. "The Tonight Show" tapes before a live studio audience.
