"THE DUNK KING" SET TO PREMIERE WEDNESDAY, MAY 18
Following TNT's exclusive coverage of the 2016 NBA Western Conference Finals
Turner Sports is set to premiere The Dunk King, an all-new reality competition series on TNT, during the network's exclusive coverage of the 2016 NBA Western Conference Finals. The definitive dunk competition show will feature top amateur dunkers from around the globe as they take center stage to showcase their best dunks for a chance at a $100,000 prize and the distinction of being named "Dunk King."
The Dunk King, set to debut Wednesday, May 18, will feature four episodes - airing immediately following TNT's coverage of the NBA Western Conference Finals Games 1-4 - following the dunkers from tryouts to the competition rounds.
Terrence J and Kenny Smith host the show with judges including NBA on TNT analysts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal and Brent Barry.
TNT, in its 32nd consecutive year of NBA coverage, will televise more than 40 NBA Playoff games - the most of any network - and the exclusive presentation of the 2016 NBA Western Conference Finals.
