ABC EXTENDS CONTRACT WITH JIMMY KIMMEL THROUGH FALL 2019
ABC Network announced today a three-year contract renewal with Jimmy Kimmel through Fall 2019. The successful late-night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" is currently in its 14th season, making Kimmel the longest-running host among his contemporaries. During its run, "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" has been nominated for four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Variety Series. Kimmel will also return to host the Primetime Emmy Awards on ABC, on September 18. Fueled by signature bits, including "Mean Tweets," "Lie Witness News," and "I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" has amassed a staggering 4.5 billion views on YouTube, with over 7.7 million subscribers to their dedicated channel.
