NEW YORK, NY - MAY 26, 2016 - Comedy Bang! Bang! is weirder than ever before this season, thanks to the addition of new bandleader and co-host, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and fans don't need to wait to the TV premiere to start feeling the weirdness. Starting tomorrow (Friday, May 27), IFC is previewing the first episode of this upcoming season free on IFC.com, through the IFC mobile app, On Demand and wherever the internet lives one week before it premieres on IFC on Friday, June 3.

Full episode and embed code available HERE.

The June 3 TV premiere will feature the season's first two episodes back-to-back at 11:00PM and 11:30PM, with host Scott Aukerman, "Weird Al" and a variety of special guests including Kevin Bacon and The Lonely Island.

"The only way to make Comedy Bang! Bang! more weird was to actually put someone with the word 'weird' in their name into the show, and that's exactly what we've done for Season 5," said Jennifer Caserta, IFC president. "This is one of the most original comedies on television, and we can't wait to share what the incredibly talented Scott Aukerman, our new bandleader and co-host 'Weird Al' Yankovic and an array of guest stars that would do any Garry Marshall film proud have in store for the fans this season."

Since its debut in 2012, Comedy Bang! Bang! has built a strong legion of devoted fans for its absurdist take on the late-night format. The untraditional celebrity interviews, intertwined with Scott's deadpan style, create a truly unique half-hour of television filled with entertaining guests and uproarious moments. A long-time fan and recurring guest of the show, "Weird Al" joins Scott center stage to banter with the weekly guests, create unforgettable music and lend his signature brand of comedy to this outrageous season.

Comedy Bang! Bang! is produced for IFC by Abso Lutely Productions; Aukerman, Dave Kneebone and Neil Campbell serve as executive producers. Season 5 episodes will be available on the new IFC mobile app after their premiere broadcasts.
