The Stars Shine as "Cupcake Wars" Returns with All-New Celebrity-Filled Episodes

THE STARS SHINE AS "CUPCAKE WARS" RETURNS WITH ALL-NEW CELEBRITY-FILLED EPISODES

Beginning Monday, July 11th at 8pm ET/PT on Food Network

New York - June 15, 2016 - It's an all-star cupcake showdown as celebrity contestants battle to prove their baking skills on special new episodes of Cupcake Wars, beginning on Monday, July 11th at 8pm ET/PT on Food Network. In each of the six episodes, hosted by Jonathan Bennett, four famous faces will compete in three rounds of elimination challenges to impress judges Elizabeth Chambers, Florian Bellanger and a special guest judge, for the chance to debut their creation at a major event and to win a donation to their favorite charity.

The celebrity contestants competing for cupcake glory in the upcoming episodes include Adrienne Bailon, Drake Bell, Julissa Bermudez, Yvette Nicole Brown, Brooke Burke-Charvet,Charlie & Max Carver, Coolio, Ron Funches, Lori Greiner, Bob Harper, Hannah Hart, Perez Hilton, Grace Helbig, Shawn Johnson, Carson Kressley, NeNe Leakes, Vanessa Marano, Katherine McNamara, Heather Morris, Lamorne Morris, Audrina Patridge, Antonio Sabato Jr., Molly Sims, Lea Thompson, Emeraude Toubia, Nick Young, and Johnny Weir. Each will be challenged to design cupcakes that match a unique theme including everything from cheerleaders to the iconic Hello Kitty and Josie and the Pussycats, from Medieval Times to the classic game Twister, and to the popular children's character Matilda, tune in to see which stars will shine the brightest and crowned the winner.

Premiering Monday, July 11th at 8pm "Celebrity: Cheerleader Cupcakes" It's time to "Go! Fight! Win!" as Perez Hilton, Audrina Patridge, Lea Thompson and Nick Young battle for cupcake dominance and compete to have their cupcakes at the center of a party celebrating the nation's champion cheerleaders and their coaches. Kristine Cather, director of marketing for the United Spirit Association, joins the judging panel to help decide which celebrity takes home bragging rights and a donation to their favorite charity.

Premiering Monday, July 18th at 8pm "Celebrity: Hello Cupcakes" It's time for cute overload as Shawn Johnson, NeNe Leakes, Lamorne Morris and Johnny Weir wage a celebrity cupcake battle royale for the chance to have their creations at the center of a massive party celebrating Hello Kitty, the globally-beloved icon of fashion and friendship. Fashion designer Betsey Johnson serves as a guest judge in this winner-take-all battle, as the last celeb standing walks away with a donation to their favorite charity.

Premiering Monday, July 25th at 8pm "Celebrity: Josie and the Pussycats" Celebrities Adrienne Bailon, Julissa Bermudez, Charlie & Max Carver, Ron Funches, Katherine McNamara and Emeraude Toubia fight to create show-stopping cupcakes for a party celebrating comic book rock icons Josie and the Pussycats. If these stars are looking for VIP treatment, they've come to the wrong place, because they'll be eliminated one by one until the last celeb standing walks away with bragging rights and a donation to their favorite charity. Jesse Goldwater, creative consultant for Archie Comics, helps crown the winner.
