One-Hour Special Airs Saturday, September 10 at 5/4c on Investigation Discovery
Just before the debut of Lifetime's scripted movie "Girl in the Box," about the kidnapping of Colleen Stan, Investigation Discovery (ID) recounts the entire true story through an intimate first-person interview with Stan herself. BOUND IN A BOX: THE TRUE STORY OF COLLEEN STAN premieres Saturday, September 10 at 5/4c.
BOUND IN A BOX tells the story of Colleen Stan, who was 20 years old in 1977 when she was kidnapped and imprisoned in a coffin-sized box for up to 23 hours a day for seven years. Stan was convinced by her captor that she was being watched by a powerful organization known as 'The Company' that would kill her and her family if she ever tried to escape.
Bound in a Box: The True Story of Colleen Stan is co-produced for Investigation Discovery by Raw TV, Ltd. with Louise Norman as executive producer and Entertainment One Television with Michael Kot as executive producer. For Investigation Discovery, Ron Simon is executive producer, Sara Kozak is senior vice president of production, Kevin Bennett is general manager and Henry Schleiff is Group President of Investigation Discovery, American Heroes Channel & Destination America.
