BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (FOX) - Jim O'Heir ("Parks and Recreation") will guest on the new season as "a cop who crosses paths with Jake (Andy Samberg) and Holt (Andre Braugher) while the two are hiding out in witness protection in Florida." (EW.com)
FEED THE BEAST (AMC) - The cable channel has opted to cancel the series after one season. "We have great respect and admiration for the entire team associated with Feed The Beast, starting with Clyde Phillips, David Schwimmer, Jim Sturgess and our studio partner, Lionsgate," the network said in a statement. "We are thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with them and appreciative of their talents, dedication and care. Unfortunately, the show simply didn't achieve the results needed to move forward with a second season." (Deadline.com)
G.L.O.W. (Netflix) - Britney Young and Sydelle Noel have both been cast in the Jenji Kohan-produced series as Carmen Wade, "a big girl with big dreams and zero experience in front of a camera"; and Cherry Bang, "a professional stunt woman whose career peaked in the Blaxploitation heyday, now looking for a chance to do more than double," respectively. (Deadline.com)
KRYPTON (Syfy) - British actress Georgina Campbell has booked the female lead on the network's Superman prequel pilot. She'll play Lyta Zod, "a member of Krypton's military caste and the daughter of a general, Alura Zod. Lyta Zod serves as a cadet - and has also been having a clandestine, forbidden romance with Seg-El (not cast yet)." (Deadline.com)
LUCIFER (FOX) - Chris Payne Gilbert will drop by the new season as John Decker, "who back in the day was a beat cop, a good man and even better father. Chloe was a 19-year-old just beginning a movie career when John was killed in the line of duty, sending Chloe on her path to becoming a detective." (TVLine.com)
SHADOWHUNTERS (Freeform) - Alisha Wainwright has been cast as werewolf Maia, "a bartender at the Hunters Moon and a new member of Luke's pack." (TVLine.com)
TWIST (NBC, New!) - Chad Damiani and J.P. Lavin have sold a potential drama to the Peacock billed as "a sexy contemporary take on Oliver Twist with a struggling 20-something female (Twist) who finally finds a true sense of family in a strange group of talented outcasts who use their unique skills to take down wealthy criminals." Said effort is set up at Lionsgate Television-based Silver Pictures Television with the company's Joel Silver and Rodney Ferrell also executive producing. (THR.com)
