Nick's President's Day Weekend-Long Marathon Culminates with Brand-New SpongeBob Episode

Burbank, Calif. - Jan. 30, 2017 - This President's Day weekend, Nickelodeon is celebrating everyone's favorite Bikini Bottom sandwich with a weekend-long "Krabby Patty Party," culminating with a brand-new, half-hour SpongeBob SquarePants special, "Goodbye, Krabby Patty?," on Monday, Feb. 20, at 7:00p.m. (ET/PT), featuring guest star Jon Hamm (Mad Men) as charismatic advertising agency executive Don Grouper. The Emmy Award-winning actor lends his voice as the sharp-witted and devastatingly charming Grouper, who has a big plan for the Krabby Patty that may prove irresistible, even to the impervious Mr. Krabs. In the episode, Mr. Krabs manufactures Krabby Patties on an industrial scale, but it drives a wedge between SpongeBob and Patrick.

The "President's Day Weekend Krabby Patty Party" kicks off on Saturday, Feb. 18, and will feature a marathon of episodes and brand-new SpongeBob content, including original videos, premiering on-air and online. Beginning Feb. 13, fans can play an all-new game, SpongeBob SquarePants Cartoon Creator, where users can create interactive cartoon strips starring their very own SpongeBob-style avatars on Nick.com and the Nick App.

Additionally, the Krusty Krab Facebook page is running as a real-life restaurant operated by Mr. Krabs. Throughout the month, the page will be populated with advertisements, including Bikini Bottom press releases, in-store only offers, and Facebook exclusives, all leading up to the release of a brand new product featured in the episode, Frozen Krabby Patty. The social celebration peaks Feb. 13, with a week-long "Krabby Patty Takeover" on the SpongeBob SquarePants Facebook Page.

Immediately following the "Goodbye, Krabby Patty?" episode, viewers can watch a sneak peek of the new series, Bunsen is a Beast, from animation veteran Butch Hartman (The Fairly OddParents) at 7:30p.m. (ET/PT). Bunsen follows the adventures of the first beast to ever attend human school. The series will officially debut on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 5:30p.m. (ET/PT) and air through Friday, Feb. 24. It will then continue with premieres in its regular timeslot of Saturdays at 10:30a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.
