STARZ LAUNCHES ON AT&T STREAMING SERVICE DIRECTV NOW

Subscribers Receive Both the STARZ and STARZ ENCORE Premium Television Services on the Streaming Platform for $8/Month

Launching with More Than 2,500 TV Series Episodes and Movies

Beverly Hills, Calif. - Feb. 7, 2017 -- Starz announced the successful launch of its STARZ and STARZ ENCORE services on the AT&T streaming service, DIRECTV NOW. Priced at only $8/month, STARZ on DIRECTV NOW provides subscribers with access to the largest premium pay TV television and movie library*. The initial launch will feature more than 2,500 episodes and movies.

STARZ features new and past episodes of STARZ Original series, including the award-winning drama series "Outlander," the hit series "Power" and the highly anticipated premiere of "American Gods," along with new, hit and favorite movies including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Inside Out and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

"With today's launch on DIRECTV NOW, Starz is continuing to extend the reach of its flagship STARZ products in the marketplace. The DIRECTV NOW offering is a terrific service for our collection of STARZ Originals and quality feature film programming, which has proven to be very successful for the unmatched quality at an affordable price point," said Jeffrey Hirsch, Chief Operating Officer at Starz. "With DIRECTV NOW, AT&T is opening up barriers to entry that prevented a wide swath of audience from accessing our groundbreaking slate of originals and we are thrilled to work with them."

"With the addition of STARZ, we're continuing to broaden the appeal of DIRECTV NOW, creating an unmatched entertainment experience," said Dan York, chief content officer for AT&T.

In addition to STARZ and STARZ ENCORE video on demand content, three live premium channels - STARZ, STARZ ENCORE and STARZ KIDS & FAMILY - are also launching on DIRECTV NOW.

STARZ on DIRECTV NOW joins the separate offering of STARZ ENCORE on DIRECTV NOW, which AT&T first made available in the $70/month "Gotta Have It" package upon the new streaming service's launch last year. STARZ ENCORE in DIRECTV Now's "Gotta Have It" package features streaming of all 8 STARZ ENCORE premium channels in addition to the STARZ ENCORE ON DEMAND offerings.

STARZ is the second-most widely subscribed flagship premium pay TV flagship network in the United States since early 2016, with more movies than any other premium pay TV service**. STARZ Originals in 2017 include "Outlander," "Power," "American Gods," along with new seasons of "Black Sails," "The Missing," "The White Princess," "Survivor's Remorse" and "Ash vs Evil Dead." Exclusive hit movies on STARZ in 2017 include: Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ghostbusters, Inside Out, Concussion, The Good Dinosaur, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 and Ant-Man.

DIRECTV NOW offers customers access to more than 100 channels, including your favorite live sports, on demand, premium channels, popular shows, and hit movies. Within minutes you have the power to stream content over a U.S. internet connection on a variety of devices. No set-top-boxes, satellite dishes, annual contracts or credit checks required.
