THE MAGIC RETURNS ON SUNDAYS

HALLMARK CHANNEL'S "GOOD WITCH" RETURNS FOR SEASON THREE SUNDAY, APRIL 30, 9 PM ET/PT

Catherine Bell, Bailee Madison and James Denton Star

In the "Good Witch" season three premiere airing Sunday, April 30 (9 p.m. ET/PT), Cassie Nightingale (Bell), along with the residents of Middleton, wait with anticipation as the rare plant, the Middleton Merriwick, readies to bloom again for the first time in decades, promising the most magical year of all. Martha (Catherine Disher), devises a strategy to let the world know Middleton houses the one-of-a-kind Merriwick, escorting a curious botanist from the University to the botanical gardens to study its wonder. When Grace (Madison) learns secondhand that Sam (Denton) and Cassie are officially together, causing Grace (Bailee Madison) to feel hurt that her mother didn't tell her first. A cryptic text from Nick (Rhys Matthew Bond) leads Grace to think he plans to ask her out, but she worries that this could complicate their friendship. Later in the botanical gardens, it is discovered someone cut a stalk off the Merriwick and as it declines, it appears the plant is not alone in being affected.

In season three, Cassie (Bell) and Sam (Denton) are officially a couple and will navigate the sometimes-choppy waters that come with their new relationship status, including dealing with the reactions of their kids, Grace (Madison) and Nick (Rhys Matthew Bond). Grace moves further into the high school years and still pushes herself to excel in school while outside the classroom, learns more about her special, intuitive abilities and also feels the first blush of teen romance. Sam works to strike a balance between his duties at the hospital and private practice as well as his responsibilities as a father to Nick and, now, a romantic partner to Cassie. As always, Martha (Catherine Disher), the indefatigable Mayor of Middleton, is working hard to put her beloved hometown on the map and bring it the attention she feels it deserves.
