FOX SPORTS OWNS THE FALL:

NETWORK ANNOUNCES 2017 NFL SCHEDULE FOLLOWING POWERHOUSE SUPER BOWL SEASON

Television's No. 1 Show, AMERICA'S GAME OF THE WEEK Debuts Sept. 10 at 4:25 PM ET as Seahawks Battle Packers

FOX NFL SUNDAY, America's Most-Watched NFL Pregame Show Since 1994, Enters its 24th Season

NEW YORK -FOX Sports owns the fall with an impressive slate of professional and collegiate football and MLB postseason coverage, today announcing its 2017 NFL schedule in preparation for its 24th season covering the league.

FOX's 2017 NFL schedule comes on the heels of the network's historic presentation of the greatest comeback and first overtime game in Super Bowl history, as the New England Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons to earn their fifth ring in the Bill Belichick-Tom Brady era. Super Bowl LI on FOX delivered a record 172 million total viewers, making it the most-viewed program in U.S. television history.

Presenting a 2017 lineup that includes 100 regular-season games, FOX's NFL coverage is led by nine editions of AMERICA'S GAME OF THE WEEK, the country's most-watched television program for eight straight years. The series kicks off Week 1 when the Seattle Seahawks meet the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 4:25 PM ET. Other notable AGOTW matchups this season include Green Bay at Dallas (Week 5); Dallas at Washington (Week 8); Dallas at Atlanta (Week 10); New York Giants at Oakland (Week 13); and Dallas at New York Giants (Week 14). Of the nine installments of AGOTW, eight feature a defending division winner.

FOX kicks off the NFL's traditional Thanksgiving Day games with the Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions from Ford Field on Thursday, Nov. 23 (12:30 PM ET). And for the second straight year, FOX delivers a Christmas Eve doubleheader highlighted by Seattle Seahawks taking on the Dallas Cowboys from AT&T stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday, Dec. 24 (4:25 PM ET). This year, Week 17 falls on New Year's Eve and features FOX's final doubleheader of the season highlighted by several divisional showdowns as teams jockey for position leading into the postseason.

This year's FOX NFL schedule features nine appearances each by the 2016 NFL MVP Matt Ryan and the NFC Champion Atlanta Falcons, as well as the NFL's offensive rookie of the year Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. Also featured nine times on FOX this season are two-time Super Bowl Champion Eli Manning and the New York Giants, Super Bowl Champion Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks and Super Bowl Champion Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.

Once the playoff field is determined, FOX presents live postseason coverage that includes an NFC Wild Card Game, an NFC Divisional Playoff matchup and the NFC Championship Game. Last season's NFC Divisional game between Green Bay and Dallas, in which the Packers won on a last-second field goal, averaged 48.522 million viewers and is the most-watched NFL Divisional Playoff Game ever on any network.

Each week during the NFL season, coverage begins with FOX NFL KICKOFF (11:00 AM ET), followed by FOX NFL SUNDAY (12:00 PM ET), America's most-watched pregame show for 23 straight years, which recently earned six nominations for this year's 38th Annual Sports Emmy Awards. Since its inception in September of 1994, FOX NFL SUNDAY has garnered 20 Emmy Awards for its production and personalities.

FOX's 2017 NFL coverage begins with a preseason doubleheader on Sunday, August 27. Beginning with a trip to Nissan Stadium, the Chicago Bears look to fill the void left by Jay Cutler as they face off against the Tennessee Titans at 1:00 PM ET. The Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Redskins clash at FedEx Field immediately following at 4:30 PM ET.
