FOR GOD & COUNTRY (NBC) - The Dean Georgaris-penned hour - a heart pounding look into the complex world of our bravest military heroes who make personal sacrifices while executing the most challenging and dangerous missions behind enemy lines - is reportedly been given the green light to begin staffing. Said news indicates a series pickup is more than likely for the project. Anne Heche, Demetrius Grosse, Hadi Tabbal, Mike Vogel, Natacha Karam, Noah Mills and Sofia Pernas star. (Deadline.com)
RISE (A.K.A. DRAMA HIGH) (NBC) - The Peacock has reportedly given Jason Katims's drama pilot - about an extraordinary working class high school drama department and the incredible students who come alive under a passionate teacher and family man whose dedication to the program galvanizes the entire town - the go-head to start making firm offers to writers. Said development marks a likely sign the project will go to series.
