INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY WELCOMES BACK NETWORK FAN-FAVORITE AND LEGENDARY HOMICIDE DETECTIVE GARRY MCFADDEN FOR SECOND SEASON OF "I AM HOMICIDE"

--New Episodes of I AM HOMICIDE Air Tuesdays at 10/9c Starting on June 6--

(Silver Spring, Md.) -Investigation Discovery (ID), America's leading destination for true crime programming, announced today the return of its hit series I AM HOMICIDE for an all-new season. Retired Charlotte Mecklenburg County detective Garry McFadden is an officer unlike any other. As one of America's most dedicated detectives, he immerses himself on every street corner to protect and serve the community he has devoted his life to defending. Over his career, McFadden has solved nearly 700 homicide cases, resulting in a 90-percent success rate with the investigations he pursues. But he uses his street smarts, and most importantly his relationships within the community, to forge a deep connection that goes beyond the search for the perpetrator. His dedication to the pursuit of justice is equally as important as the lives of the families he has vowed to protect as if they were his own. I AM HOMICIDE premieres with an all-new season beginning Tuesday, June 6 at 10/9c only on ID.

McFadden is well-regarded among law enforcement for his unorthodox methods of cracking cases - most often operating out of the local diner to conduct interviews instead of the precinct. His fiery passion is punctuated by a knack for pursuing justice while wearing the best suits in town. In 10 all-new episodes, viewers will witness his most unique and diabolical cases, from his run-in with a local white supremacist that resulted in a cross-country manhunt, to a harrowing murder in which the only witness was a three-year-old child.

Episodes featured in the new season of I AM HOMICIDE include:

"What the Toddler Saw" Season Two Premiere: Tuesday, June 6 at 10/9c When a young mother is ambushed and shot dead in the driveway of her home, Det. Garry McFadden's best witness may be a three-year-old child - the victim's son, who gives the detective a cryptic but crucial clue.

"Stalker or Lover?" Tuesday, June 13 at 10/9c A mobile home is set on fire to conceal the deadly secret inside: the body of a woman who's been strangled. The victim's distraught husband puts Det. Garry McFadden on the trail of a mysterious stalker who may be to blame. But the trail leads the investigator in an unexpected direction and into a mystery that can only be solved when he learns how to interpret the secrets contained in the flames themselves.

"Holy Terror" Tuesday, June 20 at 10/9c In a rough part of town, a woman's body is discovered beaten and then shot to death. Det. Garry McFadden discovers that the victim, Candace Clay, comes from a good family, but his search for a killer reveals secrets that might have gotten her killed. As he zeroes in on a suspect, McFadden finds himself at odds with a family that seems to be hiding a killer behind church doors.

"A Promise Kept" Tuesday, June 27 at 10/9c Early in his career as a homicide detective, Garry McFadden is assigned to investigate an apparent robbery-gone-bad at a fast food restaurant in which an assistant manager, Andrew Ray, is killed. As he learns more about the victim, the path to the killer becomes clearer, while the emotional connection McFadden discovers he has with Ray's family grows stronger.

"Hit and Run" Tuesday, July 11 at 10/9c Det. Garry McFadden is assigned to conduct what he thinks will be a routine investigation of a man injured in a hit-and-run auto accident. But when the victim, Phillip Lee, unexpectedly dies, McFadden discovers the shocking truth: it was no accident; it was murder. The search for Lee's killer takes McFadden in unexpected directions in search of a suspect who proves to be an expert at playing hide-and-go-seek.

"The Body In The Rug" Tuesday, July 18 at 10/9c Det. Garry McFadden is in the midst of training the newest homicide detective in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg PD, who's also its first African-American female detective, when the training is put to the test. McFadden and his inexperienced partner are assigned to the case of a woman's body discovered in an apartment wrapped up in a blanket. Their investigation brings them face-to-face with an odd family with something to hide - something that may have led to murder.

"Murder Becomes Personal" Tuesday, July 25 at 10/9c Det. Garry McFadden finds it hard to separate his personal feelings from doing his job when a friend is killed. Murder victim Latisha Robinson's mother, Vicki, is also friendly with McFadden, and he vows to find her justice. His investigation hits a frustrating dead end, but DNA test results finally give him the answers he needs - answers that, like the crime itself, hit close to home.

"The Long Night" Tuesday, August 8 at 10/9c When Det. Garry McFadden agrees to do a favor for a witness in one of his cases, he finds himself involved in a strange murder investigation that plays out over one of the longest nights of his career, leading to an unexpected killer.

"Kross Kountry Kriminal" Tuesday, August 15 at 10/9c Det. Garry McFadden must delve into the dark world of white supremacy in order to take down a slippery murder suspect who flees town and leads the investigator on a cross-country manhunt.

"Two Sides of Charlotte" Tuesday, August 22 at 10/9c The quiet beauty of Knickerbocker Drive in an "old money" neighborhood of Southeast Charlotte is shattered when an elderly resident is brutally attacked while coming home from church. Mildred Clontz, 92, dies from stab wounds the next day. Det. Garry McFadden's investigation takes him from one of Charlotte's nicest neighborhoods into some of its worst, as he tries to learn why Clontz was targeted and how her credit cards came to be used all over the "bad" side of town.
