CHI, THE (Showtime) - Steven Williams will recur on the upcoming drama as Quentin, "a former street boss who returned to the neighborhood for reasons unknown." (Deadline.com)
COCAINE GODMOTHER (Lifetime) - Alejandro Edda has been cast in the Catherine Zeta-Jones-led docudrama as Rudy Jimenez, "who's hired by Griselda to be her hitman and uses his charm to get on her good side immediately." (Deadline.com)
DOWNWARD DOG (ABC) - Co-creator Samm Hodges took to Twitter with the news ABC has canceled the freshman comedy after eight episodes. (@sammhodges)
EXORCIST, THE (FOX) - Jason Ensler has signed on as an executive producer/in-house director for the show's second season as part of a new overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television. (Deadline.com)
HEATHERS (Paramount) - Birgundi Baker and Cameron Gellman are both set to recur on the upcoming film-turned-TV series. Baker will portray Lizzy, "a new kid from the foster care system eager to learn the ways from Heather Chandler"; while Gellman will play Kurt, "a high school jock." (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER TRUE CRIME (NBC) - Lolita Davidovich, Heather Graham, Elizabeth Reaser and Larry Cedar have all booked roles on "The Menendez Murders." Davidovich will play mother Kitty Menendez; with Graham as Judalon Smyth, "a sexy, emotionally fragile woman having an affair with the brothers' therapist Dr. L. Jerome Oziel"; Reaser as Deputy District Attorney Pam Bozanich, "who's assigned to the murders of Jose and Kitty Menendez"; and Cedar as Milton Andersen, "Kitty's older brother, a man of Midwestern reserve, who attends a family memorial in a large hotel suite." MY DINNER WITH HERVÉ (HBO) - Mireille Enos, Oona Chaplin and Harriet Walter have all been cast in the film. Enos will play Kathy Self, "Villechaize's (Peter Dinklage) longtime girlfriend." Chaplin then will portray "Tate's (Jamie Dornan) girlfriend Katie"; with Walter as Baskin, "Danny's newspaper editor." (Deadline.com)
OLIVE FOREVER (USA) - Newcomer Emily Rudd has booked the title role on the drama pilot, about Olive, "a high school student, con artist, cat burglar and chameleon who's mature beyond her years." (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED JUSTIN WILLMAN PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - The streaming service has ordered six half-hour episodes of a new docuseries about magician/comedian Justin Willman as "he brings his skills as a magician to the strange and misunderstood subcultures of America."
