Created by Manolo Caro, the new Netflix original series will also feature Dario Yazbek Bernal, Juan Pablo Medina, Arturo Ríos, Claudette Maille, Lucas Velasquez, Sheryl Rubio, Sofia Sisniega and Luis de la Rosa, among others

Hollywood, California, July 24, 2017- Netflix, the world's leading internet television network, is set to begin principal photography today of the anticipated new original series, La Casa de las Flores. The acclaimed creator and director of the series, Manolo Caro, will work alongside the actresses Veronica Castro (The Rich also Cry, Rosa Salvaje), Aislinn Derbez (A la Mala, Win it All) and Cecilia Suarez (Capadocia, Tales of an Immoral couple) in the upcoming dark comedy. The series will feature thirteen 30-minute episodes and will be available to Netflix members around the world in 2018.

Additional cast members include Dario Yazbek (Daniel and Ana, Los Paisajes), Juan Pablo Medina (Love of my Loves Tales of an Immoral Couple), Arturo Rios (Entre Pancho Villa y una Mujer Desnuda, Y Tu Mamá También), Claudette Maille (Like Water for Chocolate, Gente Bien), Lucas Velasquez (Mentir para Vivir, Atrévete a Soñar), Sheryl Rubio (Somos tú y yo, Guerra de ídolos), Sofia Sisniega (Club de Cuervos, Gossip Girl: Acapulco), Luis de la Rosa (While the Wolf's Away) and more.

La Casa de las Flores revolves around a seemingly successful and idyllic family-run flower business full of dysfunctional secrets. One day, the patriarch finds out his longtime mistress has suddenly passed away and he decides to bring their children into the household alongside his current wife and family who didn't know they existed. The series explores the need to protect and forgive loved ones, no matter how uncomfortable.

The executive producers for the series are Rafael Ley, Stacy Perskie, Maria Jose Cordova, Mariana Arredondo and Manolo Caro from Noc Noc Cinema. La Casa de las Flores is produced by Carlos Taibo and written by Monika Revilla, Mara Vargas, Gabriel Nuncio and Manolo Caro.
