HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES ANNOUNCES DEVELOPMENT DEAL WITH AL ROKER FOR NEW MYSTERY MOVIE "MIDNIGHT SHOW MURDERS" STARRING HOLLY ROBINSON PEETE
BEVERLY HILLS, CA - July 27, 2017 - Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, the premiere television destination for thrilling mysteries, inks a development deal with award winning TV personality and author Al Roker. The mystery movie brings to life Roker's celebrated novel The Midnight Show Murders: A Billy Blessing Novel and will star famed actress Holly Robinson Peete ("21 Jump Street"). The movie is set to premiere in 2018. The announcement was made today as part of Crown Media Family Network's bi-annual TV Critics Association Summer Press Tour.

"The Midnight Show Murders" mystery revolves around a fictional TV morning show, like "Home & Family." Billy Blessing is the food anchor for the show and owner of a successful local bistro. After the mysterious death of one of the network execs, Billy's life takes a turn as she becomes the main suspect in the murder investigation and is forced to investigate to clear her name.
