CASTLE ROCK (Hulu) - Terry O'Quinn has signed onto the upcoming drama as Dale Lacy, "a pillar of the community in the town of Castle Rock." (Deadline.com)
CHIEFS (CBS, New!) - David Hudgins has booked a pilot production commitment from the Eye for a new drama about "the professional and personal lives of three driven, successful, but very different women who are each Chiefs of Police of their own precincts in L.A. County. They band together to create a task force to catch a dangerous serial killer." Carol Mendelsohn Productions' Carol Mendelsohn and Julie Weitz will also executive produce for Sony Pictures Television and CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
IMMEDIATE FAMILY (FOX, New!) - Writers Dave Finkel and Brett Baer are set to team with Thomas Kail for a "live, interactive - allowing for audience participation - multi-generational family comedy about a real-life hero who's convinced he's the only one who can keep his super-diverse, super screwed-up family from falling apart." The 20th Century Fox Television-based project, which also has a penalty attached, is also executive produced by Old 320 Sycamore's Kate Sullivan. (Deadline.com)
LOCKE & KEY (Hulu) - Jackson Robert Scott (It) has been cast as Bode Locke, "the youngest of the Locke family. Filled with all the optimism and imagination of an exuberant eight-year-old, Bode is especially attuned to the supernatural possibilities of Keyhouse... and especially vulnerable to the unnatural forces circling his family." LOVE/SICK (CBS, New!) - Lisa Parsons is looking to import the South Korean series "Emergency Couple," about "a young female doctor who is put in charge of a new group of medical interns, only to discover that one of them is her ex-boyfriend." The multi-camera/hybrid project is set up at CBS Television Studios with Jeffrey Kramer and Jiwon Park also executive producing. (Variety.com)
ME, MYSELF & I (CBS) - Ed Begley, Jr. and Tia Mowry are both set to recur on the newcomer as Governor Justin, "the future version of Alex Riley's step-brother"; and Wendy, "the wife of Darryl (Jaleel White)." (Deadline.com)
MINDY PROJECT, THE (Hulu) - Reese Witherspoon will drop by the show's final season in a yet-to-be-revealed capacity. (Deadline.com)
NIGHTFALL (FOX, New!) - Sheldon Turner has sold a potential drama to the network about "a New York City anti-crime unit headed by a charismatic, often unpredictable detective who works the midnight shift, dealing with all the dangerous and insane things that occur between the hours of 10 PM and 6 AM." Vendetta Productions' Jennifer Klein and Teakwood Lane Productions' Howard Gordon will also executive produce the project, which has a put pilot commitment, for 20th Century Fox Television.
