PAULA ZAHN RETURNS FOR A GROUND-BREAKING NEW SEASON OF INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY'S LONGEST RUNNING NEWSMAGAZINE "ON THE CASE WITH PAULA ZAHN"

-- All-New Season Debuts on Sunday, October 29 at 10/9c, only on ID--

(Silver Spring, Md.) - Emmy Award-winning journalist Paula Zahn returns to America's leading true-crime network Investigation Discovery (ID) for an all-new season of the channel's first original series, ON THE CASE WITH PAULA ZAHN. Premiering Sunday, October 29 at 10/9c, ON THE CASE takes viewers on an emotional journey into some of the nation's most captivating crimes. Driven by Zahn's unparalleled journalistic expertise and passion for justice, each episode of ON THE CASE profiles fascinating and true investigations that shocked communities across America. Anchored by insightful and emotional interviews with criminal experts and those closest to the victims, Zahn delves into every twist and turn of each case in her quest for the truth.

The season premiere of ON THE CASE follows the tragic double homicide of Reeda Roundy and Betty Gray who were found in Roundy's home, along with a satanic message written in blood. It said "Satan Loves You," and appeared to have been part of a carefully planned ritual. Detectives were puzzled, as neither murder had any signs of being ritualistic and both victims appeared to have died without a struggle. But as the investigation unfolded, detectives learned that nothing about the crime was as it appeared. In fact, it would take remarkable police work and insights from the families of both beloved mothers to finally piece together the stunning truth.

Additional episodes of ON THE CASE episodes in this season include:

Stolen Dreams Premieres Sunday, November 5 at 10/9c When John Greathouse got a call that his stepdaughter, Kelli Bailey, was late for her overnight hospital shift, he immediately went to check on her. When he walked into her home he stumbled into every parent's worst nightmare. He found Kelli sprawled out in the doorway of her bedroom and one touch of her cold ankle left him certain she was dead. John was heartbroken. The young woman he had helped raise had been murdered. As investigators surveyed the scene they found a series of puzzling clues left behind by Kelli's attacker. Could a video tape and a dead man's forged check be the keys to bringing a cold blooded killer to justice?

Twisted Lies Premieres Sunday, November 12 at 10/9c On a hot Las Vegas morning a few teens on their way to school noticed an abandoned car parked along the dirt path they were taking to school. When they looked inside they witnessed a sight they will never forget. The lifeless body of a woman lying prone in the passenger seat. When investigators arrived it was clear that the woman had been the victim of a homicide. 41-year-old Nancy Menke had been handcuffed and shot to death at point blank range. The mother of four lived just a few miles away. As investigators retraced Nancy's final hours alive they developed a solid theory of the crime, but no suspects. It wasn't until a records clerk in the insurance fraud unit stumbled upon a strange report, that the case was finally blown wide open.

ON THE CASE WITH PAULA ZAHN is a co-production between Investigation Discovery and Scott Sternberg Productions, Inc.
