Raelle Tucker and Scott Winant to Collaborate with Blumhouse Television to Produce Scripted Drama Series for Facebook Watch
The series, "Sacred Lies" (working title), is based on the classic Grimms Brothers tale, "The Handless Maiden" and the novel, "The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly" by Stephanie Oakes.

LOS ANGELES(January 16, 2018)-Continuing its forayinto creating digital first entertainment, Blumhouse Televisionhas joined forces with two of television's top creative voices, Raelle Tucker (True Blood, The Returned, Jessica Jones) and two-time Emmy Award winner Scott Winant (True Blood, Good Girls Revolt, Californication)to produce, ahalf-hour dramatic seriesforFacebookWatch.The series, Sacred Lies(Working Title), isbased on the classic GrimmsBrotherstale, The Handless Maidenand the novel, The Sacred Lies of Minnow Blyby Stephanie Oakes. Facebook Watch can be viewed on mobile, desktop and Facebook's TV apps.

Adapted and updated by Tucker, who will also serve as executive producer and showrunner, Sacred Lies(WT) is about a handless teen who escapes froma cult and finds herself in juvenile detention, suspected of knowing who killed her cult leader. Winant is on board toexecutive produce anddirectthe first two episodes. Also serving as executive producers on behalf of BlumhouseTelevisionare Jason Blum, Marci Wiseman and Jeremy Gold.
