TRAVEL CHANNEL CELEBRATES PRESIDENTS DAY WITH 16-HOUR, TWO-DAY 'MYSTERIES AT THE MUSEUM' PROGRAMMING EVENT

New Episodes Reveal Surprising Details and New Information About America's Most Iconic Leaders

NEW YORK (Jan. 29, 2018)- This Presidents Day, popular Travel Channel Series "Mysteries at the Museum" will air back-to-back episodes overflowing with surprising new details and little-known facts about the nation's most notable leaders. Hosted by Don Wildman, the 16-hour programming event, airing on Thursday, February 15 from 2-11 p.m. ET/PT and Sunday, February 18 from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. ET/PT, will include stories ranging from the catastrophe that nearly befell Jaqueline Bouvier's iconic wedding dress to President Reagan's role in discovering Norma Jeane Dougherty, who later became Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe, and President Carter's 1969 UFO sighting.

The Thursday marathon will showcase two all-new episodes with surprising stories of past presidents. The episode at 9 p.m. ET/PT reveals the tale of Teddy Roosevelt's high-stakes frontier showdown to bust up a notorious ring of outlaws. And in the 10 p.m. ET/PT episode, Wildman shares the intriguing story of Thomas Jefferson's impressive $400,000 wine collection and how a worldwide counterfeit wine operation was exposed. On Sunday at 4 p.m. ET/PT, a "Mysteries at the Museum" special episode, "Lincoln Assassination: Extra Evidence," explores an alternate theory about John Wilkes Booth, raising questions about the assassin's death.

"Lincoln Assassination: Extra Evidence"- Premieres Sunday, February 18 at 4 p.m. ET/PT

In this enhanced presentation of "Lincoln Assassination: Mysteries at the Museum," Don Wildman retraces John Wilkes Booth's steps in the aftermath of President Abraham Lincoln's murder, examining the motives behind America's first political assassination.
