LIFETIME PARTNERS WITH FORD MOTOR COMPANY FOR 'HER AMERICA: 50 WOMEN, 50 STATES'

A Digital Content Series That Celebrates Women Across America

NEW YORK, NY - March 15, 2018 - Lifetime, one of the most powerful, preeminent female entertainment brands, has partnered with Ford Motor Company on custom content created for HER AMERICA: 50 WOMEN, 50 STATES. HER AMERICA is a digital content series documenting real women across the country. Ford content will begin airing today, March 15, on Lifetime.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Ford on such timely and necessary content that captures the truth and provides a fresh perspective about women's lives in the United States," said Peter Olsen, EVP Ad Sales, A+E Networks. "The custom pieces produced with Ford are creative and authentic to their respective brands. We look forward to partnering with them on future campaigns and endeavors."

Ford and HER AMERICA will profile powerful initiatives taking place at the company and the strong female leaders behind each one. The first features Jessica Robinson, a smart mobility expert at Ford who provides a unique lens into the future of transportation and cities of tomorrow, which will launch today, March 15, on Lifetime; another highlights a Ford Warriors in Pink "Model of Courage," a metastatic breast cancer patient and ambassador for this long-standing program that helps thousands of breast cancer patients, survivors and co-survivors affected by the disease each year.

"At Ford, we value the power that individual stories have to inspire positive change," said Rajoielle Register, Manager, Cross Brand Strategy & Growth Audiences, Ford Motor Company. "It's why we put the community into the heart of everything we do - to both inform what we focus on as a company and to raise awareness around topics that make a difference."

In 2016, Lifetime set out to capture the truth about women's lives in the United States, bringing them closer together and amplifying the voices that go unheard and unrecognized with HER AMERICA. Over a year's time, Lifetime crisscrossed the country, with a production team of more than 20 women, to meet with women from every state, asking one simple question: if you could broadcast your story to the world, what would you share? The women profiled in HER AMERICA in video, photography and audio come from America's smallest towns to the largest cities, providing a fresh perspective to differing political, social and economic views.

HER AMERICA is also about the unique perspective of the women behind the cameras. The digital content series was produced, directed and shot by a team of more than 20 women. All photography was shot by female photographers hired to travel across the country to document the women featured.

HER AMERICA is available on www.heramerica.com and is featured in on-air spots on Lifetime as well as socially via Lifetime's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
