EVERYTHING SUCKS! (Netflix) - The streaming company has opted not to order a second season of the comedy series, which follows an A/V club and a Drama club who collide in 1996 Oregon. (THR.com)
GOOD COP, THE (Netflix) - Frank Whaley is set to recur on the Tony Danza/Josh Groban-led drama, about Tony Sr. (Danza), a disgraced, former NYPD officer who never followed the rules. He lives with his son, Tony Jr. (Groban), an earnest, obsessively honest NYPD detective who makes a point of always following the rules. He'll play Joseph Privett, further details of which were not released. (Deadline.com)
GREEN EGGS AND HAM (Netflix) - Jared Stern, executive producer of the upcoming animated series, has signed an exclusive overall deal with Warner Bros. TV. The pact covers his duties on the project as well as any future development. (Deadline.com)
MOZART IN THE JUNGLE (Amazon) - The streaming service has pulled the plug on the Golden Globe-winning comedy after four seasons. "We are so proud of the four seasons we made of this show and are grateful to the cast, crew, fans and Amazon for writing this symphony with us. We hope people will keep finding the show for years to come," said executive producers Paul Weitz, Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman and Will Graham in a joint statement. (THR.com)
SUSPICION (NBC) - Sofia Bryant is the latest addition to the drama pilot, about Danny Goldman (Derek Luke), who is coerced to work as an informant for the FBI after accepting a handshake loan from Tom Canter (Raul Esparza), his new friend and millionaire neighbor. She'll play Ellie, "Danny's daughter." (Deadline.com)
UNSUBSCRIBED (HBO, New!) - Tiffany Haddish is set to team with Xosha Roquemore and Danielle Henderson for a potential comedy billed as "an examination of female blackness, beauty, and identity through a behind-the-scenes look at the Instagram hustle." Roquemore and Henderson are penning the project with Haddish likewise executive producing via her She Ready banner as part of a first-look deal with the pay channel. (Variety.com)
