"Scooby-Doo: Origins" Starts Production in Atlanta
A modern reimagining of the iconic mystery-solving group of teens and their very special dog.

"SCOOBY-DOO: ORIGINS" STARTS PRODUCTION IN ATLANTA

· Netflix has announced that production has begun in Atlanta, Georgia for SCOOBY-DOO: ORIGINS, the official title for the live-action series.

· Previously announced cast includes Mckenna Grace as "Daphne Blake," Tanner Hagen as "Shaggy Rogers," Abby Ryder Fortson as "Velma Dinkley," Maxwell Jenkins as "Fred Jones," Paul Walter Hauser.

· Logline: A modern reimagining of the iconic mystery-solving group of teens and their very special dog. During their final summer at camp, old friends Shaggy and Daphne get embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely lost Great Dane puppy that may have been a witness to a supernatural murder. Together with the pragmatic and scientific townie, Velma, and the strange, but ever so handsome new kid, Freddy, they set out to solve the case that is pulling each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all of their secrets.

As one of the most recognizable and iconic franchises in entertainment, Scooby-Doo continues to thrill fans across generations.

· The show will join a lineup of other Netflix productions filmed in Atlanta, Georgia, including Stranger Things, His & Hers, and the upcoming 'Tis So Sweet, All the Sinners Bleed, A Different World, Where There's Smoke, and Sweet Magnolias S5.
