ALICE ISN'T DEAD (USA, New!) - Joseph Fink's podcast/upcoming novel is being developed as a TV series by the cable channel. Kyle Bradstreet is spearheading the project, which "follows Keisha as she traverses the country as a truck driver, searching for her wife Alice, whom she had long assumed was dead. As the miles pile up, so do the mysteries. Because hidden in America's seemingly-innocuous corners, lie supernatural dangers all pointing back to Alice." Universal Cable Productions is behind the hour, home to Bradstreet's overall deal. (Deadline.com)
ARROW (The CW) - Colton Haynes's Roy Harper is set to return to the veteran drama as a series regular next season. (Deadline.com)
DEADWOOD (HBO) - A proposed film based on the series has received a tax credit under California's Film and TV Credit Program 2.0, inching the project closer to reality. (THR.com)
QUAD, THE (BET) - The cable channel has canceled the series, which just wrapped airing its second season. (Variety.com)
UNTITLED MUMBAI INDIANS PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - Condé Nast Entertainment has scored an eight-episode order from the streaming service for a docu-series about the Mumbai Indians, "the most successful cricket team in the Indian Premier League." Al Edgington, Joe LaBracio, Dawn Ostroff, Jeremy Finn, Jamie Stewart and James Maby are among the executive producers. (THR.com)
