$1 (CBSAA) - Aleksa Palladino is the latest to recur on the upcoming drama as Chelsea Wyler, "daughter to Charles (Jeff Perry), a retired con man. As a child, she would often help sell her father's latest con but now, a young woman at a cross-roads, she's trying to forgive him and find her place in the world." (Deadline.com)
BIG LITTLE LIES (HBO) - Martin Donovan has been cast as Martin Howard, "the father to Zoe Kravitz's Bonnie," on the show's second season. (THR.com)
FOUNDATION (Apple) - David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman's proposed small screen take on Isaac Asimov's science fiction novel trilogy has found at home at the company. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Marcy Ross are also set to executive produce via Skydance Television. The project is in development for straight-to-series consideration. Jonah Nolan and Lisa Joy previously took a stab at an adaptation at HBO in 2015. (Deadline.com)
I KNOW WHO YOU ARE (Paramount, New!) - Writer Steven Kane and director David Semel are set to team for a domestic take on Pau Freixas's 2017 Spanish limited series "Sé quién eres," billed as "a missing-person thriller that follows a morally ambiguous celebrity journalist who awakens from a car accident as a suspect in the disappearance of his own niece." Tripp Vinson, Lucas Carter and Alex Coscas are also on board to executive produce for CBS TV Studios. (Deadline.com)
I'M DYING UP HERE (Showtime) - Dana Gould and Beau Mirchoff have both snagged roles on the upcoming second season: Bruce, "the slick, alpha-male agent of Adam (R.J. Cyler) who thinks "artistic integrity" is another word for "poverty"; and Saul Hudson, "a go-getter, single, wannabe playboy TV producer whose father was in the business," respectively. (Deadline.com)
NOBODIES (Paramount) - The show's sophomore run will shift back to original broadcaster TV Land beginning this Thursday at 10:00/9:00c. (@NobodiesTV)
PURGE, THE (USA/Syfy) - Lili Simmons, Hannah Anderson and Lee Tergesen have all joined the cast of the film franchise's proposed TV spin-off. Simmons will play Lila, "a young, rich, and rebellious, woman who refuses to fit in with the pro-Purge socialite crowd." Anderson then will portray Jenna, "an anti-Purge and devoted to charitable causes, who is accustomed to locking down on Purge Night." And finally, Tergesen is Joe, "an armored, masked, and seemingly ordinary man who drives through town, intervening acts of Purge violence while listening to the taped lectures of a motivational life coach." (Deadline.com)
SANDSTORM (Amazon, New!) - Writer Carter Harris and director Mohamed Diab are spearheading a potential drama at the streaming service about notorious Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, "who seized power in a coup at the age of 29, and ruled Libya for more than four decades before his bloody demise at the hands of his own countrymen in 2011." Anonymous Content and O3 Productions are behind the project, with Tariq Merhab, Nicole Romano, Ali Jaafar and Fadi Ismail likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
WESTWORLD (HBO) - Tao Okamoto, Julia Jones, Kiki Sukezane and Zahn McClarnon are all on tap for the much-ballyhooed second season as Hanaryo, Kohana, Sakura and Akecheta, respectively. No details were given about their characters. In addition, Martin Sensmeir will return as Wanahton in a recurring capacity. (Deadline.com)
YOUNGER (TV Land) - Lois Robbins has snagged a recurring role on the show's fifth season as Penelope, "an art collector who shows an interest in Maggie's (Debi Mazar's) work." (Deadline.com)
