HBO(R) AND REI SET UP CAMP TO CELEBRATE NEW COMEDY SERIES "CAMPING," STARRING JENNIFER GARNER

Pack your bags, we're going CAMPING! To celebrate the release of HBO's new, original comedy series CAMPING, starring Jennifer Garner, the premium network is partnering with specialty outdoor retailer REI Co-op to launch a nationwide Instagram contest, #CampingHBOContest, and host advance screening parties at three REI flagship stores across the country.

To prepare for the great outdoors and the premiere of the new comedy, HBO and REI are inviting Instagram users to post their best CAMPING hack videos. Series writers and executive producers Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner will select the grand prize winner.

To top it off, advance screenings of CAMPING will be held in REI flagship stores: Seattle on October 8th, Denver on October 12th and Washington, D.C. on October 16th. CAMPING follows a group of old friends as they arrive at the underwhelming Brown Bear Lake campsite to celebrate a landmark birthday, sparking heightened emotions, latent tensions (sexual and otherwise) and memories they'd rather forget.

CAMPING debuts on HBO Sunday, October 14th at 10pm ET/ PT and will be available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and partners' streaming platforms.
