Los Angeles, CA, October 9th, 2018: YouTube and Vox today announced they have greenlit a new series from Vox Entertainment, the studio division of Vox Media. The YouTube Original series is slated to premiere on Vox's YouTube channel in 2019.

The new series will seek to explain to viewers answers to big questions in the news today. In a groundbreaking format, a team of correspondents will ask Vox's YouTube audience what makes them curious or confused. The team of correspondents will find the answers, and debunk misconceptions.

"Billions of people all over the world come to YouTube to seek information, discover new facts and engage with others, so we are thrilled to partner with Vox to combine each of these areas into one entertaining - and educational - new YouTube Original series," said Susanne Daniels, Global Head of Original Content, YouTube.

"Each of Vox Entertainment's shows are inspired by great stories, next generation talent, and a deep curiosity about the world," said Chad Mumm, VP and Head of Vox Entertainment. "Vox's explanatory format has already been immensely popular on YouTube, with acclaimed series, a roster of talented creators, and almost 5 million subscribers. We're thrilled to continue to push the boundaries of what the industry can expect from Vox Entertainment in terms of premium non-fiction programming."

"People turn to Vox and YouTube for answers to their biggest questions about news and the world around them," said Joe Posner, Head of Video for Vox. "So we're thrilled to be able to get our YouTube audience involved and, together, make this our most ambitious series yet."
