GAME SHOW NETWORK NAMES JOEY FATONE AS HOST OF NEW TRIVIA-BASED SHOW, "COMMON KNOWLEDGE" PREMIERING JANUARY 14

New Half-Hour Series Challenges Two Teams to Test Their Real-World and "Common" Knowledge For a Chance at $10,000

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Game Show Network, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, has added Joey Fatone (*NSYNC, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding") as host of its new knowledge-based game show, COMMON KNOWLEDGE. The new half-hour series will premiere January 14 at 5:30 p.m. ET and will air Monday through Friday.

COMMON KNOWLEDGE asks those practical, everyday questions that everyone should know, like - what should you do when you have a fever? Or how can you tell if a watermelon is ripe? Two teams of three (friends/co-workers/relatives) compete to answer multiple-choice questions in three rounds of play with the winning team going on to the bonus round to play for $10,000.

Actor, singer, and host Joey Fatone first became known as the baritone of multi-platinum selling music group *NSYNC. Fatone has also appeared in countless television shows and movies including "Dancing with the Stars," and "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," as well as serving as the announcer for "Family Feud" from 2010-2015. Fatone was also the host for complete-the-lyric game show "The Singing Bee," and unscripted reality show "Parents Just Don't Understand."

COMMON KNOWLEDGE is produced by Game Show Enterprises, LLC for Game Show Network. Tim Puntillo and Adam Zuvich serve as executive producers.

COVER STORY is produced by Brent Zacky and Michael Spierer of Ashley Oaks Media.
