Directed by Álex and David Pastor (Incorporated, Los últimos días, Carriers) and produced by Nostromo Pictures (Palmeras en la nieve, Red Lights, Contratiempo) the film will premiere only on Netflix in 2020

Madrid, Spain, November 27th 2018 - Netflix continues to bet on local content and starts production in Barcelona of Hogar, a new original film that will be coming soon to Netflix users worldwide.

Javier Gutiérrez (Campeones, El autor, Marshland), Mario Casas (El fotógrafo de Mauthausen, Contratiempo, Palmeras en la nieve), Bruna Cusí (Goya Award winner for Best Actress for Verano 1993) and Ruth Díaz (Tarde para la ira, Bajo la piel del lobo) play Javier, Tomás, Lara, and Marga, respectively, two couples that are apparent strangers but have one thing in common: an apartment.

David Ramírez (Narcos, Pelotas), David Selvas (Celda 211, Contratiempo), Raül Ferré (El Día de mañana), David Verdaguer (10.000 km, La Embajada) Vicky Luengo (Las leyes de la termodinámica, Blue Rai), and Ernesto Collado (El Reino, Cuéntame cómo pasó ) are also a part of the cast.

Javier Muñoz was a successful executive, but after a year of unemployment, he and his family make the decision to leave the apartment that they can't afford. One day, Javier discovers that he still has a set of keys of his old home and starts spying in the young couple that now lives there. Little by little, Javier will start to infiltrate the lives of the new owners, determined to recover the life he has lost...even if it means destroying anyone that comes in his way.

Hogar is directed by Álex and David Pastor (Incorporated, Los últimos días, Carriers) and produced by Nostromo Pictures (Palmeras en la nieve, El Guardián Invisible, Contratiempo). "Hogar is a project we have been dreaming about for years that explores some of our favourite topics: desire, ambition and the insanity that is hidden beneath the peaceful surface of the everyday life", David and Alex stated, "Javier Muñoz, our leading man, is the broken mirror where the most materialistic aspirations of modern society are reflected. It is an honor that Javier, Mario, Bruna and Ruth have decided to join this adventure and that Netflix and Nostromo Pictures have bet on our most personal and bold proposal" .

Hogar will be coming soon to Netflix
