"Elite" Starts Production in Madrid for Season 2

"ELITE" STARTS PRODUCTION IN MADRID FOR SEASON 2

The gang is growing... Jorge López, Georgina Amorós and Claudia Salas are joining ELITE's cast in the new season.

Madrid, January 15 2019 - Netflix, the world's leading internet entertainment service, has announced today the start of production of ELITE's second season with a special video that also reveals new cast members.

In this season, new faces - Jorge Lopez (Soy Luna, Violeta), Georgina Amorós (Bienvenidos a la familia, Vis a Vis) and Claudia Salas (La Peste) - are joining the talented ensemble cast of the show. Additionally, Silvia Quer (Bajo sospecha, Velvet, Febrer) who will direct the second season alongside Ramón Salazar (La enfermedad del domingo, Tres metros sobre el cielo) and Dani de la Orden (El Mejor Verano de mi vida, El pregón) who also directed the first season.

The returning cast includes Miguel Herrán (Money Heist, Tiempo después), Jaime Lorente (Money Heist, La sombra de la ley), Itzán Escamilla (Las chicas del cable, El Ministerio del tiempo), Miguel Bernardeau (Ola de Cr�menes), Arón Piper (15 a�os y un d�a), Ester Expósito (Cuando los ángeles duermen), Mina El Hammani (El Pr�ncipe), álvaro Rico (Velvet Collection), Omar Ayuso (who debuted with éLITE) and Danna Paola (Atrévete a So�ar).

The 8 episode-season, shot in 4K, will be available to Netflix members all around the world in 2019. As per the first season, the show will be executive produced by Zeta Audiovisual (Ahora o Nunca, Three Steps Above Heaven, I Want You)
