EMILY IN PARIS (Paramount Network) - Ashley Park is set to star opposite Lily Collins in the upcoming comedy as Mindy Chen: "Emily makes a new friend in Mindy, a twentysomething au pair. Mindy is a fellow expat who has fallen in love with the city, a stark contrast to how Emily is adjusting to Parisian life." (Deadline.com)
GOOD GIRLS (NBC) - The Peacock has quietly extended the show's third season from 13 to 16 episodes. (Variety.com)
I AM A KILLER (Netflix) - The streaming service has commissioned a second season of the series, which "features in-depth interviews with some of the longest serving death row prisoners in America." Danny Tipping, Ned Parker and Natalka Znak of Znak & Co. are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
LAST RESORT (Quibi, New!) - Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia's Seven Bucks Productions and Paul Feig and Laura Fischer's Powderkeg are set to team for a new comedy at the short-form video service about "a Polynesian family-run resort in Hawaii that's suddenly thrown into a whirlwind when a tech billionaire puts in a bid to buy the land." Writer Sameer Gardezi and Hiram Garcia, Kevin Hill and Brian Gewirtz will also serve as producers. (Variety.com)
LOVE LIFE (HBO Max) - Scoot McNairy, Sasha Compere, Zoe Chao and Peter Vack have all been cast in the Anna Kendrick-led anthology series. McNairy will recur as Bradley, "a museum tour company with a stunning fiancé and successful business who has a roving eye on Darby (Kendrick)." Compere then will play Darby's outspoken roommate Mallory, "who has a biting sense of humor and is able to deliver the hard truths that Darby sometimes needs to hear"; with Chao as Sara, "Darby's best friend and roommate since college who is in a long-term relationship with Jim"; and Vack is Jim, "described as a staffer at Politico who has an edge that keeps the wild and outgoing Sara in check." (Variety.com)
MILLION LITTLE THINGS, A (ABC) - Jason Ritter has been tapped to recur on the show's sophomore run as "someone with ties to Maggie's (Allison Miller) mother, Patricia (Melora Hardin)." Hardin will reprise her role as Patricia during season two, "while Chandler Riggs, Drea de Matteo and James Tupper are also set to return, as PJ, Barbara and Andrew." (TVLine.com)
PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS (Showtime) - Piper Perabo is the latest to recur on the series as Linda Craft, "the wife of Dr. Peter Craft (Rory Kinnear), who is head of the isolationist German-American Bund, and mother to Trevor (Hudson West) and Tom (Julian Hilliard)." (THR.com)
