By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

BAKER AND THE BEAUTY, THE (ABC) - Georgina Reilly will recur on the midseason drama as Piper: "Quirky, offbeat and down to earth, she is Noa's best friend since boarding school and also her brand manager." (Deadline.com)
DELILAH (HBO Max) - Arturo Castro has been tapped for a role on the comedy pilot as Pastor Dale, "an incredibly likable and upbeat minister who leads the congregation at the Childs' family church and is immediately intrigued by Delilah (Jessica Rothe)." (Deadline.com)
FLIGHT ATTENDANT, THE (HBO Max) - Sonoya Mizuno has been cast in the Kaley Cuoco-led drama as Miranda, "a savvy and potentially dangerous businesswoman who Cassie meets in Bangkok." (Deadline.com)
MOODY CHRISTMAS, A (FOX) - Maria Gabriela de Faria is the latest addition to the event series as Cora, "the girlfriend of a Moody cousin who comes for Christmas and almost instantly establishes a deep rapport with Sean Sr.'s son Dan." (Deadline.com)
NEVER HAVE I EVER (Netflix) - Sendhil Ramamurthy will recur on the coming-of-age comedy series as Mohan Venkatesan, "a warm, caring father and husband with an adventurous streak (he owns a moped). Along with his wife, he moved to Los Angeles from Chennai in 2001. He loves America and is determined to give his teenage daughter the best life possible here." (Deadline.com)
RINGWORLD (Amazon) - Akiva Goldsman has inked a first-look deal with the show's producer MGM Television. It's understood he's writing and executive producing the company's small screen take on Larry Niven's classic science fiction book of the same name. (Variety.com)
SOUL SURVIVOR (CBS, New!) - Christopher Silber has sold a new drama to the Eye in which "after a private investigator with a shady past is the lone survivor of a plane crash, his new lease on life is complicated by the fact that his seat mate, a dogged former DA and perennially optimistic do-gooder, becomes his de facto partner pushing him to take on clients with nowhere else to turn. To further complicate matters, she's dead - a ghost that only he can see and who is always by his side." CBS Television Studios-based Fulwell 73 is behind the hour with Ben Winston, James Corden, Leo Pearlman and Jeff Grosvenor likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
SUPERNATURAL (The CW) - Christian Kane will drop by the show's final season as Leo Webb, "a former hunter and a friend of Dean Winchester. Although we don't know much about Leo, the fact that he's a "former hunter" who knows Dean without mention of Sam could mean be that he knows the older Winchester brother from his hunting days with dear old dad, back before Dean showed up in Sam's dorm room." (EW.com)
UNTITLED MELISSA LONDON HILFERS PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Melissa London Hilfers has set up a potential drama at the network billed as "an epic, multi-generational musical drama about America's first family of country music." Sandbox Entertainment's Jason Owen and SideCar's Gail Berman will also executive produce the FOX Entertainment-based project, which has a penalty attached. (Deadline.com)
