STAMFORD, Conn. - April 22, 2026 - USA Sports today announced the 2026 schedule for its upcoming inaugural season of WNBA coverage on USA Network, headlined by Wednesday night doubleheaders, marquee matchups, superstars across the league, and 2026 WNBA Finals games.

The WNBA on USA Network schedule tips off on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10, as 2025 WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson and the defending champion Las Vegas Aces visit Cameron Brink, Kelsey Plum and the Los Angeles Sparks at 6 p.m. ET from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Last season, Wilson secured her second consecutive and record-breaking fourth career WNBA MVP award in leading the Aces to their third title in the past four seasons. This season, the Aces return Wilson, six-time All-Star Chelsea Gray, and 2025 All-WNBA Second Teamer Jackie Young, who have each been a part of all three title teams.

USA Sports' WNBA coverage will also include dedicated pregame, halftime and postgame studio programming throughout the season, establishing USA Network as a weekly destination for WNBA fans. USA Sports will also present first round playoff games and up to five WNBA Finals games, with any Finals series longer than a sweep ensuring that the 2026 WNBA champion will be determined on USA Network.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DOUBLEHEADERS & NOTABLE MATCHUPS

Anchoring the WNBA on USA Network schedule are Wednesday night doubleheaders throughout the season, which begin on Wed., May 13 as the Aces visit the Connecticut Sun (8 p.m. ET), followed by Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever visiting the Sparks (10:30 p.m. ET).

The Fever and Clark, an All-Star in both of her WNBA seasons and the 2024 Rookie of the Year, will appear on USA Network at least nine times this season. The Fever re-signed guard Sophie Cunningham this offseason, who was recently announced as an Athlete Contributor for USA Sports' WNBA coverage this season.

In the second week of USA Network's Wednesday night doubleheaders on May 20, the Portland Fire, in their first season, visit the Fever at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the Chicago Sky hosting 2025 Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers, 2026 No. 1 pick Azzi Fudd the Dallas Wings at 9 p.m. ET.

Rounding out the first month of Wednesday night doubleheaders on May 27, Sabrina Ionescu, Breanna Stewart and the New York Liberty host Alyssa Thomas and the Phoenix Mercury, who advanced to the WNBA Finals last season, at 7 p.m. ET. Following Mercury-Liberty, newly acquired Angel Reese, Allisha Gray and the Atlanta Dream visit No. 2 overall pick Olivia Miles and the Minnesota Lynx at 9 p.m. ET.

· Tues., June 23 (10 p.m. ET): New York vs. Las Vegas

· Mon., Aug. 10 (10 p.m. ET): Chicago vs. Seattle as seven-time All-Star Skylar Diggins of the Sky faces her former team

PUSH FOR THE PLAYOFFS

Following an international break for the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup (Sept. 4-13), USA Network will present a slate of potentially season-defining matchups with nine games over the season's final eight days from Sept. 17-24 as the push for the playoffs intensifies.

During the stretch, the Aces, Storm, and Wings will all play on USA Network three times, while the Mercury will each appear twice.

On Wed., Sept. 23, USA Network presents a doubleheader of Atlanta vs. New York (8 p.m. ET) and Dallas vs. Seattle (10 p.m. ET) in the final regular season game for all four teams. Then, on the final day of the regular season on Thurs., Sept. 24, USA Network's live coverage features a doubleheader of Indiana vs. Minnesota (8 p.m. ET) and Las Vegas vs. Phoenix (10 p.m. ET).

The team calling games features Kate Scott, Meghan McPeak and Carlan Gay as play-by-play callers with analysts Sarah Kustok, Tamika Catchings, Amy Audibert, Lea B. Olsen, and Edona Thaqi. In addition to the previously announced group which includes courtside reporters Paris Lawson and Edona Thaqi, well-respected women's basketball reporter Terrika Foster-Brasby will join USA Sports as a courtside reporter for its WNBA coverage this season. Foster-Brasby, who has covered women's basketball for more than a decade nationally and has been a host and reporter for the Connecticut Sun, is also the co-host of the iHeart Women's Sports Network podcast "Levels to This," alongside WNBA legend and Hall of Famer Sheryl Swoopes.

Throughout the season, USA Sports will surround the WNBA on USA with pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage. Sports Emmy(R) Award-winning host Elle Duncan will lead USA Sports' studio coverage alongside two-time WNBA champion Renee Montgomery and recently-announced Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Chamique Holdsclaw. Last year, USA Sports and the WNBA announced an 11-year media rights agreement for USA Network to present WNBA games - including the regular-season and portions of the Playoffs and WNBA Finals in select years - beginning with the 2026 season.
