AMERICAN CRIME STORY (FX) - Emmy winner Margo Martindale has been cast as Lucianne Steinberger Goldberg in the anthology's "Impeachment" installment. Martindale's Goldberg, "a literary agent and author, met Linda Tripp while working on the proposal for the book on the death of Clinton aide Vince Foster. The two women became friends, and in 1997 Goldberg advised Tripp to secretly record former White House intern Lewinsky talking about her sexual relationship with President Clinton. Goldberg mistakenly advised Tripp that it was legal to record phone conversations in Maryland without the consent of the other party." (Deadline.com)
AMERICAN GODS (Starz) - Danny Trejo, Julia Sweeney and rapper Wale will all drop by the new season. Trejo will portray "one of the many forms of Mr. World (Crispin Glover)"; with Sweeney as Ann-Marie Hinzelmann, "the disarmingly warm one-woman welcome wagon for Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) when he arrives"; and Wale as "the fiery, silver-tongued Orisha named Chango, an important link to Shadow's unexplored past." CUP OF JOE (Quibi, New!) - Joe Jonas of The Jonas Brothers will topline an eight-part travel series for the streaming service in which "before he hits the stage on his sold-out Happiness Begins tour, Joe will experience each city like a true native - as a local guides him through each destination." Jonas, Phil McIntyre, John Taylor and Ben Winston are the executive producers for Philymack and Fulwell 73 with David Soutar directing. (Deadline.com)
FLASH, THE (The CW) - Efrat Dor will join the cast of the current season in the series regular role of Eva McCulloch: "A quantum engineer and co-founder of McCulloch Technologies, Eva McCulloch is a scientific genius who works on the bleeding edge. Eva has been away from Central City for many years. But a chance meeting with Iris West-Allen results in a surprising alliance that pushes the boundaries of sanity, while also uncovering a vast conspiracy to take down Team Flash and its allies." HUNTERS (Amazon) - Creator David Weil has signed an overall deal with producer Amazon Studios. The pact gives the company exclusive access to his TV output. (Deadline.com)
LIAM HEMSWORTH QUIBI PROJECT (Quibi) - The Liam Hemsworth-led action thriller has cast Jimmy Akingbola, Sarah Gadon and Zach Cherry in recurring roles. Gadon is set to play Dodge's wife Valerie; with Cherry as Looger, Dodge's best friend from childhood; and Akingbola in a yet-to-revealed secret role. (Deadline.com)
ONCE MORE (ABC, New!) - Jack Moore has set up at single-camera comedy at the Alphabet about Will Wilde, "a 45-year-old sad sack of a man whose life has not turned out how he'd hoped. That is until one fateful day when Will makes a wish and wakes up to find himself back in his childhood bedroom. It's 1999 and Will is 12 years old again, only now he has all the knowledge and memories of his 45 year old self." Justin Spitzer, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner will also executive produce for the Universal Television-based Hazy Mills Productions. (Deadline.com)
POWER (Starz) - Cedric the Entertainer and Brandon Micheal Hall are bound for the show's final episodes as "part of an out of town underworld team." Also on tap are Geoffrey Owens and Mark Feuerstein, the latter as "a political operative." (Deadline.com)
SISSY (Showtime, New!) - Jacob Tobia is looking to bring their recent memoir, subtitled "A Coming-of-Gender Story," to the small screen at the pay channel. The project would follow Tobi Gibran, "a non-binary college grad and full time gender weirdo from North Carolina. Tobi moves to New York City in search of queer utopia. Though they score a prestigious job at the UN, Tobi quickly learns that NYC is less "glittering trans paradise" and more "trash-filled hell with a side of street harassment."" Tobia and Michael Lannan are co-writing the script and will executive produce for Legendary Television. (Variety.com)
STAIRCASE, THE (Netflix) - Harrison Ford is reportedly attached to star in and executive produce a scripted adaptation of the much-ballyhooed documentary series, which "detailed the trial of American novelist Michael Peterson." Antonio Campos will write and also executive produce the project, which is currently being shopped to networks and streaming services, for Annapurna Television. (Variety.com)
THIS IS US (NBC) - Kay Oyegun has signed an overall deal with producer 20th Century Fox Television. There she'll continue as a producer as well as develop new series projects. (Deadline.com)
UNDONE (Amazon) - Amazon Studios has closed an overall deal with the recently renewed series' co-creator Kate Purdy. (Deadline.com)
