(TVLine.com)
REBEL (ABC) - Lex Scott Davis has scored a role on the drama pilot as Cassidy, "the daughter of Rebel (Katey Sagal) and Benji Ray (James Lesure), one part attorney and one part recovering juvenile delinquent. She's inherited her confrontational skills from both of her eloquent, argumentative parents, but she's learned to hide her irritation - a skill her mother never will master. WALKER (The CW) - Violet Brinson and Kale Culley are the latest bound for the "Walker, Texas Ranger" reboot series. Brinson will play Stella Walker: "Sixteen years old, insolent and riding an emotional rollercoaster, Stella is Walker's teenage daughter. Headstrong and smart as hell, she resents her dad for being absent - and she's not about to forgive him anytime soon. Her unrest leads her to ask questions Walker isn't ready to answer." And Culley is Arlo Walker: "Fourteen years old, sweet, sincere and quietly smart, Arlo is Walker's son. Arlo rabidly consumes information and is eager to learn any skill that will help, please and impress his family. Unlike his sister, he doesn't want to cause a stir. In other words, a time bomb." (Deadline.com)
WE'RE NEVER GETTING MARRIED (Quibi, New!) - Mason Flink has sold a potential romantic comedy series to the short-form video service about "two friends forced to confront their perpetual singlehood during an extravagant wedding weekend. As they stumble through Martha's Vineyard, wreaking havoc amongst the guests, Nathan and Marie struggle with the pressure to say "I do," even when you really don't." Neal Moritz, Pavun Shetty and Karina Rahardja will also executive produce via the Sony Pictures Television-based Original Film. Beth York is a producer. (Deadline.com)
Y (FX) - Elliot Fletcher has joined the cast of the DC Comics adaptation as Sam Jordan, "Hero Brown's (Ben Schnetzer) best friend, and enabler. His background (he grew up in poverty with absent parents), has made him resourceful and resilient in a world where surviving men are greeted with suspicion or worse. Street smart but occasionally self-destructive, he is wry and funny, with a big heart." (Deadline.com)
