Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" Makes Franchise History by Expanding to 45-Minutes After Overwhelming Success of "The Daily Social Distancing Show"

New York, April 27, 2020 - As The Daily Social Distancing Show with Trevor Noah enters its sixth week of hugely successful remote shows, Comedy Central's stalwart late-night franchise announces an unprecedented format shift. For the first time in its 24-year history, The Daily Show will lengthen its episodes to 45 minutes starting tonight, Monday, April 27th and airing weeknights, Monday through Thursday at 11pm ET/PT on Comedy Central.

The news of supersized Daily Show episodes comes at a moment in time when viewers are heading to host Trevor Noah, not just for satire and escapism, but also for an honest point of view and as a source of trustworthy information.
