LACE UP THOSE GEEK GLOVES! "SYFY WIRE'S THE GREAT DEBATE" LAUNCHES THURSDAY, JUNE 18 ON SYFY

-- Inspired By The Smash Hit Panels From The Convention And Festival Circuits, New Late-Night Series Hosted By Baron Vaughn --

Prepare to unleash your feisty inner geek with SYFY WIRE'S THE GREAT DEBATE, premiering Thursday, June 18 at 11PM ET/PT on SYFY.

Transformed from the stage for the SYFY screen, the half-hour, late-night series features a rotating group of nerd-tastic, nostalgia loving celebrities who go head-to-head each week to hash out fandom's burning questions. These notable genre enthusiasts show off their comedic improv chops, don their best geekdom cosplay and debate the hottest questions in the galaxy such as: Who'd be a worse boss, Darth Vader or the Joker? What is THE best movie snack? What would a therapy session with Super Mario look like? And many more!

Actor and comedian Baron Vaughn ("Grace and Frankie", "Mystery Science Theatre 3000") hosts the unfiltered and unabashed new series. No stranger to a debate stage, Vaughn hosted SYFY WIRE'S THE GREAT DEBATE live panel at New York Comic Con in 2019 and was a panelist at SXSW's showdown that same year.

Joining Vaughn is an ever-morphing panel of passionate nerd ambassadors - ready to defend their own personal Geekdom truth - several of whom have participated in GREAT DEBATE panels in the past. Show guests include:
