Saturday Night Mysteries on Ovation TV Continue with "Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime," Starring David Walliams and Jessica Raine, Starting June 13

Six-Part British Series Based on Beloved Agatha Christie Characters

Los Angeles, CA - May 7, 2020 Following the success of Murdoch Mysteries and Frankie Drake Mysteries, Ovation TV, America's only arts network, has announced the airdate for international mystery series Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime, starring David Walliams (Little Britain) and Jessica Raine (Call the Midwife). Based on the 1922 novel The Secret Adversary and the 1941 novel N or M?, the six-episode series will air on Ovation TV on Saturday, June 13th at 7pm ET / 4pm PT.

Partners in Crime is an espionage adventure series about a suburban married couple, Tommy and Tuppence Beresford, who solve mysteries and foil plots in '50s Cold War Britain. Based on Agatha Christie's classic characters, Tommy (David Walliams) and Tuppence (Jessica Raine) may approach their cases in a somewhat haphazard manner, but their natural guile and derringdo are more than a match for the spies, assassins and double agents that stand in their way. The series comprises two stories, The Secret Adversary, where our heroes search simultaneously for a missing girl and a recording that could identify a Soviet hit man living within our midst, and then N or M?, where they must identify which person in a guesthouse in a coastal town has stolen a nuclear bomb... before it's too late.

Episode descriptions are below:

Episode 1 - "The Secret Adversary, Part 1" - airs Saturday, June 13th at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

On a train from Paris, Tommy (David Walliams) and Tuppence (Jessica Raine) meet an agitated young woman who mysteriously disappears. Tuppence is determined to find her. Major Anthony Carter, Tommy's uncle who works for the "Third Floor," a branch of British military intelligence, warns them off. But soon the pair is searching for the woman, a secret recording, and a Soviet hit man named Brown.

Episode 2 - "The Secret Adversary, Part 2" - airs Saturday, June 20th at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

Tommy (David Walliams) is mistaken for a wealthy mastermind who's working with Brown's violent, criminal gang. Tuppence (Jessica Raine) takes a job as maid to Rita Vandemeyer, a faded soprano with ties to Brown. Vandemeyer receives a package from Brown, Major Carter is no help at all, and the Beresfords work to maintain their cover in the face of increasing peril.

Episode 3 - "The Secret Adversary, Part 3" - airs Saturday, June 27th at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

With Tommy (David Walliams)'s cover blown, the gang gives him an assignment: steal a file from the Third Floor or risk the life of his young son, George. Tommy gets the file with help from Tuppence (Jessica Raine). The Beresfords race to foil a plot that threatens the British government.

No episode airing on Saturday, July 4th

Episode 4 - "N or M? Part 1" - airs Saturday, July 11th at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

There's a leak on the Third Floor, and Tommy (David Walliams) is the only man Major Carter can trust. Carter sends him on a mission so secret he can't even tell Tuppence (Jessica Raine): find a missing British scientist, a nuclear bomb, and a Soviet spy code-named N... or is it M? Tommy goes in search of the kidnapper, but Tuppence is two steps ahead of him.

Episode 5 - "N or M? Part 2" - airs Saturday, July 18th at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

When their prime suspect turns up dead, the Beresfords look elsewhere for the bomb thief. Tommy (David Walliams) thinks it's Carl Denim, a beatnik who's flirting with Tuppence (Jessica Raine). Tuppence thinks it's the glamorous Mrs. Sprot, who has her eye on Tommy. Tommy lets his guard down and ends up in trouble.

Episode 6 - "N or M? Part 3" - airs Saturday, July 25th at 7pm ET / 4pm PT

Tommy (David Walliams) finds the missing scientist, but both are held captive, and the agent's identity is still unknown. Luckily, the scientist hid an important key to the bomb before his capture. Tuppence (Jessica Raine) comes to the rescue, and together she and Tommy attempt to retrieve the key, but danger lies in wait. The Beresfords turn to Carter for help in devising a risky plan to save thousands of innocent lives.
